Call to Worship Education O God, you are righteous Transform us by your Word! Your judgments are upright Transform us by your Word! Your precepts are unforgettable Transform us by your Word! Give us understanding and we will live Re-form us, reconcile us, Transform us by your Word! Winter Education Classes - 11:00-11:45 a.m. 1) Season of Reading - Jr. Singing Room Mike Williamson, Erwin Tiessen, Glenn Sellick, David Dyck The winter classes move from the Old Testament stories and the Gospel message to the beginning of the early church. With this understanding, the book of Acts will be featured along with a number of the epistles. The class will explore the passion and power and struggles of Paul and other leaders as they faithfully carried the Gospel message to the larger world. From Paul's world we will look for learnings and encouragement as we work at being the living and loving community of faith here in our local congregation. 2) Prayer: Does it Make any Difference - Sr. Singing Room Janice Wagner, Paul Dyck All Christians have questions about prayer. We all want to know things like: Is God listening? Why do many prayers go unanswered? Does prayer really help physical healing. Join us weekly as we discuss Phliip Yancy's book, Prayer: Does it Make a Difference and explore these and other questions surrounding prayer. 3) 8 Cities Class - Board Room - Elisa Recker, Lisa Heide As we journey further with 8 Cities, we are aware that right there alongside us, in the backseat asking "Are we there yet?" are our beautiful children. Join us each Sunday as we discuss the themes of the 8 Cities events. This session will focus on the joy and challenges of being real life parents while maintaining and strengthening a marriage.
