Large print bulletins are available and children s bulletins are available on the table in the Narthex. A nursery is available for infants up to 5 years of age.

Those who are able are invited to stand. PRELUDE The Strife is O'er LIFE OF THE CONGREGATION Moment of silence to prepare your hearts for worship Giovanni Palestrina SONG OF DEVOTION (hymnal & screen) (please remain seated) #189 Alleluia (vs. 1 & 2) CHRIST IS RISEN! HALLELUJAH! CALL TO WORSHIP (Psalm 66:16-17, 20) Leader: Come and hear, all you who fear God; People: let me tell you what He has done for me. Leader: I cried out to Him with my mouth; His praise was on my tongue People: Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld His love from me! INVOCATION Leader: Almighty God, fill our mouths with Your praise. Let our worship overflow from the sanctuary into the streets. Bind the evil one from our lives and remove from our hearts any fear that rises from his threats. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. SONGS OF PRAISE (screen) Shout to the North #589 Here I Am, Lord CALL TO CONFESSION (Deuteronomy 30:19-20) Leader: This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to His voice, and hold fast to Him. For the Lord is your life, and He will give you many years in the land He swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Let us choose the life that God offers us by confessing our sins and receiving the grace of Jesus Christ. Please join me in silent prayer. SILENT PRAYER

PRAYER OF CONFESSION Unison: Almighty God, forgive us for being silent about Your great love and grace. Move in our hearts a greater love for You and our neighbors so that we might speak of You to them. Help us to invite them to seek Your face and find Your grace. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. ASSURANCE OF PARDON (Isaiah 44:6-8, 21-22) Leader: This is what the Lord says Israel s King and Redeemer, the Lord Almighty: I am the first and I am the last; apart from Me there is no God. Who then is like Me? Let him proclaim it. Let him declare and lay out before Me what has happened since I established my ancient people, and what is yet to come yes, let them foretell what will come. Do not tremble, do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim this and foretell it long ago? You are my witnesses. Is there any God besides Me? No, there is no other Rock; I know not one. Remember these things, Jacob, for you, Israel, are my servant. I have made you, you are My servant; Israel, I will not forget you. I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you. Sisters and brothers in Christ, believe the good news: you are forgiven through faith in Jesus Christ. AFFIRMATION OF FAITH The Apostles Creed Unison: I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen. GLORIA PATRI
