Sunday, June 1, 2014 11:00 AM PRELUDE ENTRANCE WELCOME, REGISTRATION OF ATTENDANCE AND ANNOUNCEMENTS INTROIT Now Let Us Come Before Him J.S.Bach *GREETING L: Though the way seems long and the road rough P: Yet will we trust the One who leads us. L: Though the direction is unknown and we don t know the outcome P: Yet will we place our lives in Christ s loving care. L: It is Christ who brings us out to green pastures and restores our souls. P: It is Christ who gives us hope and peace. Praise be to Christ our Lord. *HYMN 590 (UMH) Christ Loves the Church PRAYER OF CONFESSION Patient and loving God, we stand at the gate and peer through. We keep creating our own ways, believing that we know what is in our own best interest, and we ignore the voice of the one Shepherd who will guide us to peace and hope. We wander aimlessly and then wonder why we get so lost. Help us stop and listen to the Shepherd s voice. Let us place our trust in the Shepherd who has never failed us, who loves and guides our lives. Forgive us our stubbornness. For we ask this in Christ s Name. Amen. MOMENT OF SILENT PRAYER WORDS OF ASSURANCE L:Even though we have wandered and have become lost, the shepherd calls to us. We can place our trust in his loving care. For we are the sheep of his pasture, blessed and given hope. Amen. P: Thanks be to God.

It's a camp in the Poconos for rising 9th graders through graduating high school seniors. It's a lot of fun with all kinds of activities, classes, music, sports, campfires etc and best of all it's in a Christian environment where the youth can continue to learn and grow in their relationship with God and other believers. Contact Scott Karsner (scottkarsner@gmail.com) for a brochure or additional information. Scott Karsner and Blairlee Owens will be attending on Faculty along with several youth already signed up! There are partial scholarships available. Money certainly shouldn't be the reason you don't attend.
