When the world needs to hear your Good News, and we decline to do little more than mumble, forgive us. When we want you to heal us and make us new, but doubt that you can or will, forgive us. We often fail to be true to who we are, O God, so we have no right to ask this, but we ask you to be true to who you are, and forgive us once again. CONCERNS OF THE CHURCH PRESENTATION OF THE OFFERING OFFERTORY ANTHEM (11:15 am) Let Us Love in Deed and Truth Larry King (1932-1990) If anyone has the world s goods, and sees his neighbor in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God s love abide in him? Let us not love in word or speech, but in deed and in truth. By this we shall know that we are of the truth: we have confidence before God, and we receive from him whatever we ask, because we keep his commandments, and do what pleases him. And this is his commandment, that we should believe in his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another.
