Spring 2016 Business Name Happy new year from all of us with God's Ministry in LaGonave both in the USA and Haiti. It is with excitement that I write to you all now as there is much going on. As you all are aware, Haiti was devastated by Hurricane Matthew last October. Our village suffered much damage to people's homes and their livelihoods, but, praise God, there were no lives lost in our area. Thanks to your very generous donations, we were able to get food to 350 families in both our village and the two surrounding villages. More food was delivered by donkey (roads were too bad at the time for a truck) to three other villages. We handed out over 300 tarps and are off to a good start giving out goats with 50 given so far and funds to purchase around 130 more. We also gave out seed for families to plant gardens to help replace some of what they lost. Ybene has been heading up work crews to repair the washed out areas of road. This is also possible because of your donations. We purchased shovels, pick axes, sledgehammers, wheelbarrows, and other supplies to share with those volunteering their time to help. You will see some pictures in this newsletter but for more just go to my Facebook page (Laura Dalla) as all of those pictures and posts are publicly viewable. Even with all of this going on, we have continued to work on the school with funds raised before the hurricane and set aside for the build. We are adding the last four classrooms and a new office. Donald Mobley and his Haitian crew are working very hard on this build and are doing a beautiful job. The feeding program at our school, supplied by Feed My Starving Children, continues to run very well and is now even more important as January and February are the months families would have been harvesting their gardens. I truly cannot thank you all enough for your amazing support and for helping us to get through what is still a difficult time for many here in Haiti. None of this would be possible without all of you who pray and give. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and I pray the Lord will bless you all abundantly! In His Hands, Laura Dalla, Co-founder
