Guest Speakers: Pastor Ian Archer, Ann DiNatale, Victoria Hall Richard & Karen Zielinski Call: (716) 464-3681 or email: amelia@ihno.org *snacks will be provided Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. I am enthralled to watch God move in my life every day. His mercies are new and His miracles are a total inspiration. That wasn t always the way I thought, though. There were many a day after I came to the Lord that I questioned where God was if anywhere at all. I was broken when I came to Him, and my ability to see Him move was limited because I did not know Him to know what to even look for! The little part of me that DID know Him was enough to trigger the desire to seek and serve Him. Today, I stand in a very different place with 26 years behind me. I know my Lord intimately and with assurance that He loves me. I am able to do more than I ever dreamed possible and everyday my journey is set and my daily bread given. If YOU are questioning today or seeking a healthy relationship of trust and obedience; or maybe you re ready to let go of the other idols in your life that leave you in despair and broken pieces Please call us and we ll walk alongside you in prayer & support so that you too can be confident in Christ. Page 3 TAKING A VACATIION FROM WORRY By Nancy Brawdy Worry. It seems to affect all of us. I come from a long and broad history of worriers. I was taught that if you did not worry about things or people it meant you did not care. What a lie I have learned that is. I must say, to the glory of God, I really do worry less and less as I grow in Christ. I look back and see how differently I handle things now than I did in the past and I can only thank God for the freedom from worry. This is one of the benefits of knowing Him and who He is. The God of the universe who created everything. He promises to set us free. As we trust Him and we grow deeper we become free from old habits, including worry. It is possible. 2 Corinthians 3:18 tell us we are being transformed into his image. From glory to glory. With these thoughts in mind, I want to encourage you to take a vacation from worry. Here are some steps to help you along in that process. As you move on in your life, I pray you will take longer and longer vacations from worry until it no longer has a hold on you. 1) Give your burden (worry) to Jesus Matthew 11:28-30 (NLT) Then Jesus said, Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light. 2 )Remember Jesus said Do not worry. It is not a choice but a command, and if God tells us to do something, it means we are capable of doing it. But only with His help. Ask Him to give you the understanding or revelation of the power that is in you to do this through Jesus Christ. Then, turning to his disciples, Jesus said, That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life whether you have enough food to eat or enough clothes to wear. For life is more than food, and your body more than clothing. Look at the ravens. They don t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for God feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than any birds! Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? And if worry can t accomplish a little thing like that, what s the use of worrying over bigger things? 3) Acknowledge that God wants to give you victory over worry. Luke 12:32 (NLT) So don t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom. Romans 8:37(NKJV) Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 4) Have scriptures ready to combat the thoughts that cause doubt. Psalm 3 is perfect for this. Thoughts of doubt will tell you that there is no help for you in God BUT: He is the glory and the lifter of your head. Psalm 3 (NKJV) The Lord Helps His Troubled People A Psalm of David when he fled from Absalom his son. 3 Lord, how they have increased who trouble me! Many are they who rise up against me. 2 Many are they who say of me, There is no help for him in God. 3 But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head. 4 I cried to the Lord with my voice, And He heard me from His holy hill. M A K E I T P E R S O N A L W I T H P R A Y E R Lord Jesus, we are sorry for worrying. Worry is a lack of faith. You have called us to faith. Please open our minds to see the freedom that is there for us from worry. I pray that in the days to come, as we practice these principles, we will see the results of your faithfulness and find ourselves free more and more each day. Bring us to a place where we can look back and say, WOW, what God has done. I am free from worry in so many areas. Thank you that you are our loving Father and you know what we need before we ask, so we don't need to worry. Bless your name! Amen

Page 5 Highlights of TPM Seminar- Oct. 2015 Dr. Donna It was great to have Ed and Josh with us. They taught us thought-provoking ways to challenge the belief system we formed and continue operating out of, whether healthy or not. For more information on their new materials check their website after the first of the year. http://www.theophostic.com/ Ann D This was my first exposure to TPM and I found it very informative and it gave me some valuable tools to use in the future. Corey N "As I continue to incorporate the transformative prayer method into my counseling sessions, I have begun to realize that this is a very practical and purposeful way to expose lie based beliefs and replace them with truth. So many times in counseling we circle the runway with our counselees but can't land the plane, and this prayer method does just that. When we invite the Holy Spirit to assist us in identifying, surrendering, and redeeming lie based beliefs, true transformation can then occur." Victoria H the seminar was a phenomenal, eye-opening experience. Hearing about the power of not just knowing, but EXPERIENCING the life -altering truth of God s message is a must for everyone. It was a blessing to learn straightforward, practical tools to be able to guide myself and others to overcome mental and emotional barriers by entering into an encounter with God, so that we may be healed and transformed through His
