Bringing the Good News of Christ! Trinity Tidings 803 W 3 rd St www.trinitylutheranclifton.org Clifton, Texas TrinityClifton803@gmail.com Febraury, 2019 Sunday Worship 10:30 a.m. Journeys Every person created by God is unique and gifted. More than that, every person is on a unique journey of faith as we change, grow, search and come to different understandings of our relationship with God. In the same way, each congregation is a distinctive family of God. Each church has a different history, a distinctive place in its community, and a personality that is all its own. Just as an individual is on a journey of faith, each congregation is also on a journey of growth, understanding, and discipleship. Yet, among all these unique characteristics of individual Christians and Christian congregations, there are basic qualities that are dependable marks of a life with God. 1. GRACE You are a Christian because of God s gift of grace. God has baptized you and his gift of love and forgiveness makes you who you are. Your service and discipleship grows out of God s gift; you don t build a relationship with God on your own. 2. WORSHIP You are stronger when you are part of the family of God and the family is stronger when you join with us. Trinity needs all of its members and our basic act as a family is worship. Be part of this church. 3. STUDY The word of God has led the church for two thousand years. The printed word of the Bible and the thoughtful, encouraging words shared in discussions by searching Christians. Explore the word and strengthen your faith. 4. GIVING The ministry of God is done by the time, money, and energy of God s servants. Be part of God s love in the world and know the joy of using all that God has given to you in service to God s creation. Pastor Sappenfield
