ACTS 1:1-3 THE APOSTLES DOCTRINE, Where Did It Come From? The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: The Apostles doctrine came from the Holy Ghost(God himself, manifested in the flesh, came in the form of a man...and we know him as Jesus Christ!) And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:32 KJV)!2

John Newton 1782-1802 John Newton wrote this hymn as he remembered his life challenges, he gave up on God but God never gave up on him. He recognized how wretched and lost he was, and finally came to himself. The Lord moved upon his heart putting these sweet words of God 's Amazing Grace into a song. Today Amazing Grace is one of the most heartfelt hymns sung in Churches all around the world. Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, That saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now am found, Was blind, but now I see. Saved by GRACE To be saved by grace means to be delivered from the righteous judgment of God through no act of your own but by his unmerited favor. God gave us the law (Exodus 20:1-17). The law is comprised of what we should and should not do regarding loving God and loving man (Matthew 22:37-40). However, to break the law of God is to sin (1 John 3:4). Unfortunately, we have all sinned against God (Romans 3:23), so we all deserve to be judged by God according to the Law. The Bible tells us that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23) and separation from him (Isaiah 59:2). So, we are all under the righteous judgment of God. Because we are sinners, we are by nature children of wrath (Ephesians 2:3). Grace, on the other hand, is unmerited favor. Let me illustrate with three scenarios. First, let's say that I go over to your house and I steal your TV. You catch me, and I go to jail. That is justice. I got what I deserved. Second, I go to your house and steal your TV. You catch me but set me free. That is mercy. I did not get what I deserved. Third, I go to your house and steal your TV. You catch me; but you not only set me free, you give me the TV. I got what I did not deserve. So, in justice we get what we deserve. In mercy we don't get what we deserve. In grace we get what we do not deserve. Grace is getting what we do not deserve from God. We do not deserve forgiveness of our sins, but he gives it to us through Jesus. We do not deserve to go to heaven, but we are able to do that ONLY through Jesus. So, to be saved by grace means that the judgment due to us because of our sin against God, i.e., lying, stealing, adultery, fornication, coveting, lust, etc., will not befall us; that is forgiveness. But in addition, we get what we do not deserve--being in the presence of God. Finally, the only way to be saved by grace is by putting your trust in what Jesus did on the cross. He never sinned (1 Peter 2:22), and he bore our sin in his body (1 Peter 2:24). He paid the price. He satisfied the penalty of the law by dying on the cross (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Because our righteous deeds are filthy rags before God (Isaiah 64:6), then we have nothing that is pure to offer God (Deuteronomy 17:1; Romans 3:10-12). Therefore, the only thing left for us to do is to trust what Christ has done on the cross--by faith. That is why the Bible tells us that we are made right before God by faith (Romans 5:1). Therefore, to be saved by grace means to be safe from the righteous judgment of God by the unmerited favor found only in the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Jesus Loves You!!4

WORD JOURNAL The Arm of The Lord The Arm Of The Lord At The Right Hand Of God Christ is "seated" at the right hand at of God - Romans 8.34. Christ is the Right Arm of the Lord - Isaiah 53.1, Isaiah 41.10 If I was sitting on a throne with arm rests, my right arm would be "seated" at my right hand side. - Hebrews 12.2 My arm is a distinct part of me, yet it is me. - John 10.30 - I and my Father are one. If I wanted to reach someone who could not reach me, I would extend my arm. My arm would represent me, it would do nothing on its own or of its own. My arm is powerful, yet powerless apart from me. - John 5.19, John 5.30 The Son can do nothing of himself. When my arm holds something, it becomes the link back to me. On my behalf, it provides support, comfort, guidance, cleaning, or a covering to the object it holds and it "intercedes" on behalf of the object back to me. It tells me if something is hot, cold, fragile, broken, weak...etc. - Hebrews 4.15 - Jesus is "touched" with the feeling of our infirmities. My arm is me, yet it is the mediator between me and whatever I reach for. - 1 Tim 2.5. If my arm is injured, I suffer because I and my arm are one person. - John 10.30 For God So Loved The World, That He Sent His Only "Right Arm" If my wife or one of my sons were suffering in a fire, it would "please" me, to reach into that fire and burn my arm to the bone to protect them. Not that I have anything against my arm, not that my arm deserves punishment, but rather I love my family abundantly more than my own arm, I love my bride and my sons, more than myself. - Isaiah 53.5-10, Eph 5.25 Brownie 3.16 - For God so loved the world, that he sent his only "right arm"... that thru his right arm the world might be saved. My Father did not punish someone else for my sin, he punished himself. He crushed his own right arm to rescue his bride, to rescue his children. Now I have eternal life in the palm of his Right Hand, and nothing can pluck me out. - John 10.29 Jesus, (God revealed in flesh), is the right arm of the Father. The hand of Jesus is the hand of the Father. - 1 Tim 3.16 Jesus, the right arm of God, God manifest in flesh, My Father, My Husband, My Saviour, My Hero. AMEN. Written by: Paul Brownie. WRITE THE VISION Interviews Brother. Tommy Green A Teaching Experience at Rehoboth New Life Center WTVN: Praise The Lord Brother. Green it's a pleasure to have this opportunity to meet with you today. Tell us a little bit about yourself? Bro. Green: Hello, Yes, let's see, my faithful walk with Christ started in June 2003. I been running ever since trying to make a hundred, ninety-nine and a half won't do. I'm totally enraptured with the Word of God! WTVN: I hear you brother, ninety - nine and a half just won't do! How did you hear about Rehoboth New Life Center, and how did you meet the Brownies? Bro. Green: I was new to the neighborhood passing by I noticed on occasion there was an Apostolic Ministry nearby. Well as Providence intended, my first visit to Rehoboth New Life Center, I observed the Minister Michael Brownie teaching, this was I believe Tuesday October 3, 2006. Yom Kippur was the day before. I met Sister Yvonne Brownie August 2008. WTVN: What have you learned from Pastor Brownie's teachings? Bro. Green: Certainly his principal teaching is " We're the Sons of God! " I've also learned from his testimonies in times of trouble, you can draw on the Word of God for strength and what caught my attention was the teaching of the Substitutionary Death of Jesus Christ, (1 Peter 2:24). The spiritual insight moved me to follow Christ. WTVN: Pastor Brownie has a powerful anointing for teaching, I imagine the bible studies were full of hungry souls ready to be taught. Would you agree? Bro. Green: In the beginning of this assembly the Minister Michael Brownie was traveling from Michigan every Tuesday to teach myself and three other souls we were constant. I love the red doors with the brightness of the hanging light out front as I walked in the direction of the building. I was eager and ready to study the Word of God, during that time Bible Study began at 8pm. WTVN: Amen. Where two or three are gathered, God is in the midst. What would you say to Pastor and First Lady Yvonne who are celebrating their 5th year Church Anniversary entitled " Grace? " Bro. Green: I've been wholehearted delighted to talk about my friend, big brother Pastor Michael Brownie and my friend Sis. Yvonne we share the same birthday (laughing) Thank you both for your example of faithfulness and the love of The Lord for your services, helping, evangelism, and your prayers. May the Spirit of The Lord and his GRACE lead and guide you in the activities of life. I LOVE YOU BOTH and much respect. WTVN: I believe you truly admire Pastor and First Lady Brownie, God has orchestrated and put you in their path for a reason, Rehoboth means God Has Made Room for you Brother, thank you for taking the time to speak with WTVN. God Bless You. Bro. Green: Thank you my Sister.!8

MINISTRIES A church where God has made room for you and your family! Our Beliefs: God: There is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4). He is the creator of heaven and earth, and of all living beings. He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), in the son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit). Free Home Bible Studies The Bible: We believe in the Holy Bible (both Old & New Testaments) as the inspired word of God. It is free from all error, complete in its revelation and serves as the final authority for the Christian life and faith Salvation: We believe that the bible teaches that man has a sin nature (Genesis 8:21). This came about because of the loss of dominion (control of the flesh) originally given to man by God. (Genesis 1:28). The result of this loss of dominion are sins (Ephesians 2:1). And sins bring death (James 1:15). We believe that the message of salvation that delivers us from sins, and the sin nature is found in the words of Jesus to Nicodemus. Youth Ministries John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. We believe that this command was put into practice on the day of Pentecost by the apostles and is the example that the apostolic church both taught and practiced. Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost We believe the evidences and manifestations of the holy spirit are given by scripture. Single Women's Ministries Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.2and suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. The Church: We believe that the church is the body of believers who have obeyed the message as outlined by Jesus (John 3:5). And are being led by the spirit.
