The psalms teach us that we can talk to God about anything going on in our lives. When we are afraid, God helps us with our fears. When we are sad, God reminds us that we are not alone. When we are happy, God wants to hear our good news and share our happiness. This is your special journal of the psalms. You can use the psalms from the Bible to help you create your own collection of songs and prayers to God.

Be Still and know that I am God Psalm 46:10 God invites us to enjoy quiet time. When we close our eyes and sit quietly, we can use our breath to remind us that God is near. As we inhale, we can say the words "be still" in our head. As we exhale, we can say the words "and know that I am God" in our head. When we do this for a few moments, we begin to feel peace and calm in our lives. You can give it a try.
