Sympathy: It is with deep sadness that we continue to share the loss of our beloved Ruth Elkas Atto. We send our condolences to her husband Jim and siblings Emsey (Gay), Gladys, Sam (Marlene), Myrna (Jeff) and Steve (Françoise) and their children and grandchildren. Her funeral, co-celebrated by the Rev. Dr. Samuel V. Dansokho and the Rev. Martyn Sadler, took place here last Thursday and, as nephew Stephan said, Ruth would have been delighted with the full church and choir loft! Our organist/choir director, Leslie Young, conducted the augmented choir and sang a solo. Words of remembrance were delivered by Royce Gale and Vivienne Galanis. Ruth was baptized at Plymouth-Trinity 80 years ago and sang in the choir for 74 years. She touched the lives of all of us here as she did in the many other areas of her life, a life of putting her faith into action. We are grateful for the life and the work of Ruth and we will remember her. The Quebec-Sherbrooke Presbytery meeting was held in Georgeville on Thursday and that the Montreal-Ottawa Conference held its General Assembly Saturday.
