The offering ensures that 100 percent of every designated gift to UMCOR for disaster response and other critical needs goes directly to address those needs. Laurens United Methodist Church Sunday, April 7, 2019 during the Sunday School hour @ 9:10 A.M. Children, youth & parents are invited to attend Camp Sunday on April 7. A staff member from Lake Okoboji Camp & Retreat will be here to discuss camp, show a video & answer any questions you may have about church camp. We will enjoy treats in Fellowship Hall following the presentation. The staff member will also be giving the message on this particular Sunday as well. Please join us!

The LAST day of Sunday School for the 2018-2019 year will be May 5, 2019. Teacher Appreciation and Sunday School Attendance Awards Presentation will be held Sunday, May 5, 2019 during the worship hour. All Sunday School teachers and Christian Education Committee members are requested to be present for the worship service at 10:30 a.m. Parents will be notified by mail if their child(ren) earned an attendance award. Thank you to all who attended, donated, and helped at the Beef Burger lunch and Pampered Chef Fundraiser. We made approximately $1,500 at this event. We sincerely appreciate your support. The Pampered Chef party will stay open until April 7th so if you would like to order you still have time. You may order online, or by sending directly to Becky Johnson (consultant) or giving the order to Angela Christenson. The youth are getting very excited for the trip to Haiti and we could not have come this far without your support. We are currently $2,000 short of our goal. ~ Thank you, Angela Christenson
