The Laurens Area Youth Group will meet here at our church for the month of April. There will be NO meeting on Easter Sunday, April 21st. May 5th meeting will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church. Youth Group Board meeting will be held on Sunday, April 14th @ 5 p.m. at Laurens UMC. Altar flowers this past Sunday were given in honor of Pastor Ed Frank s birthday from his wife, Kris. Thank you to Kris for providing them. Pastor Ed s birthday was March 20, 2019. The LAST day of Sunday School for the 2018-2019 year will be May 5, 2019. Teacher Appreciation and Sunday School Attendance Awards Presentation will be held Sunday, May 5, 2019 during the worship hour. All Sunday School teachers and Christian Education Committee members are requested to be present for the worship service at 10:30 a.m. Parents will be notified by mail if their child(ren) earned an attendance award. Thank you to all who attended, donated, and helped at the Beef Burger lunch and Pampered Chef Fundraiser. We made approximately $1,500 at this event. We sincerely appreciate your support. The Pampered Chef party will stay open until April 7th so if you would like to order you still have time. You may order online, or by sending directly to Becky Johnson (consultant) or giving the order to Angela Christenson. The youth are getting very excited for the trip to Haiti and we could not have come this far without your support. We are currently $2,000 short of our goal. ~ Thank you, Angela Christenson
