Today at Faith This morning we continue in our sermon series on the miracles of Jesus, Resurrection Power: How Jesus Miracles Renew Us. There will be an elder there to lead prayer and you are welcome and encouraged to join us. Pray for VBS: Our Shipwrecked (Rescued By Jesus) VBS starts this week, running from Monday to Thursday. Please pray for students to come to know Christ and be discipled. Ask God for grace in Bible teaching, student and leader relationships and programming. If you have prayer needs, please visit room 1 on the north side of the sanctuary after the morning service. Dick Brichta, after successful surgery to repair a broken hip last weekend, is now undergoing therapy and rehab at Lexington Health Care of Elmhurst. Remember to pray for those who are unable to join us in worship. Today we think of Theresa Vegters who lives in Lexington Square in Elmhurst. Announcements Today is the last Children s Church session for the summer. Children s church will be on a summer break until September. The church office will begin summer hours this week. VBS Crew Leaders and Helpers: Please attend a 15 minute meeting immediately following the morning service TODAY in the back of the sanctuary to receive instructions and your crews for VBS. Thanks so much for your service! VBS Program and Ice Cream Social: In addition to our Monday through Thursday program for kids in the morning, we invite parents and all church members to join us Thursday night at 7:00 PM for a brief VBS program involving the students and ice cream social following. Meet Me @ the Park come and join other women and children for a morning of fun and fellowship. We ll be meeting at Eldridge Park at the playground by the pond on select Fridays throughout the summer from 10:00 AM until noon. Our next meeting is Friday, June 29. Our dates for the rest of the summer will be July 13 & 27 and August 10. Invite your friends and neighbors.
