24 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO history of Christianity, throughout the history of the Gospel. And it continues to be done the same way: all those who have received Christ as their Savior are then baptized in water in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and Christ baptizes them with the Holy Spirit and fire, and produces the new birth in them, and thus they are born in the Kingdom of God, they are born again. Remember that there is no way to enter into the Kingdom of God if you are not born again, as Christ said to Nicodemus in chapter 3, verse 1 of Saint John verses 1 to 6. He said to him: Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. To be born of the water is to be born of the Gospel of Christ, and to be born of the Spirit is to be born of the Holy Spirit; that is how we are born in God s Kingdom. That is how we enter into the Kingdom of God. Therefore, you may be baptized and may Christ baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire, and may He produce the new birth in you. And we will continue seeing each other throughout eternity in the glorious Kingdom of Christ our Savior. You have welcomed Christ. Christ is entering into the heart, into the soul of every one of you, to reign in your heart, in your life and always guide you in God s way. I leave Reverend Alejandro Sarria with you, so that he may let you know what you must do to be baptized in water in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior. The text contained in this conference can be verified with the audio or video recordings. This booklet should only be used for personal purposes of study, until it is formally published. them in Your Kingdom, I pray You. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. Now, those who are receiving Christ as their Savior, repeat this prayer after me: Lord Jesus Christ, I heard the preaching of Your Gospel, and Your faith was born in my heart. I believe in You with all my soul, I believe in Your First Coming and I believe in Your Name as the only name given unto man whereby we must be saved; and I believe in Your death on Calvary s Cross as the Sacrifice of Atonement for our sins. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I need a Redeemer, a Savior. I acknowledge that I need You, Lord. I give public testimony of my faith in You and Your faith in me. I pray that You forgive my sins, and may You cleanse me from all sin with Your Blood, and baptize me with Holy Spirit and fire after I am baptized in water in Your Name, and may you bring forth the new birth in me. I want to be born in Your Kingdom, I want to live eternally with You, Lord, in Your Kingdom. Save me, Lord! Make a reality in my life the salvation You purchased for me in Calvary s Cross, make it a reality in me. I pray in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and Amen. Now, those who have come to the Feet of Christ may ask: When can you baptize me? Because Christ said: He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. [Saint Mark 16:15-16.] We remember the Day of Pentecost, when 120 believers in Christ were baptized with the Holy Spirit and fire; then Saint Peter preached, and those who heard (which were about three thousand people) asked: What shall we do? Peter said to them: Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ. And from that day on, Christ also began to baptize with the Holy Spirit and fire the people who received Him as their only and sufficient Savior, and that is how it has been throughout the

22 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO believer in Christ knows that he has come from eternity, from the Kingdom of God; and therefore, he has come from God, and is here with the purpose of obtaining the redemption through Christ, and thus, obtaining eternal Life. And if he dies physically, he knows that he goes to Paradise and he will come with Christ in His Coming in a glorified, eternal and young body for all eternity. And if he continues living here until the second coming of Christ, we know that we will be changed and then we will be young, resembling 18 to 21 years of age throughout eternity. Those are promises that are written in the Word of the Lord. That is why our faith and hope is in Christ and in His Word. In our time, God will do the same thing He did in past times, He was fulfilling what was promised for those times. For our time, He will be fulfilling what He has promised for the Last Day, for the final day, for the end time. For this time, there are more blessings for the believers in Christ our Savior: for me, and for whom else? Each one of you as well. Remember that the most important thing is In life, the most important thing is: Life. Eternal Life is the most important thing for the human beings, and we can only obtain it through Jesus Christ our Savior, who has the exclusivity to eternal Life. That is what I quoted First John chapter 5, verses 10 to 13 to you. The good news is that we have eternal Life through Christ our Savior. Let us pray for the people who are coming to the Feet of Christ, and we will be standing up. Children 10 years of age and older can also come to the feet of Christ. Remember that Christ said: Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. [Saint Matthew 9:14.] With our heads bowed and our eyes closed: Heavenly Father who art in Heaven, I come to You in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ with all these people who are receiving Christ as their only and sufficient Savior. Receive JESUS ENTERING INTO JERUSALEM AS IT WAS WRITTEN Dr. William Soto Santiago Sunday, March 29, 2015 Bogota, Colombia G ood morning, beloved friends and brethren present, and those in other nations. May the blessings of Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, be upon all of you and upon me too. And may He open the Scriptures to us, and our hearts and minds in order to understand and believe the Word of God. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. For me it is a great blessing and privilege to be with you on this occasion to share some moments of fellowship with you around the Word of God and His Program pertaining to this end time. Happy Birthday to Martin Franco, and to everyone who is celebrating their birthday today. Warm greetings to Senator Mauricio Jaramillo, who is with us today, and who will also be a candidate for governor of the Department of Tolima. I wish you success in your political affairs. On this occasion, we will read a well-known Biblical Scripture, since today is the commemoration of Jesus Christ s triumphal entrance into Jerusalem as King. We read in Saint Matthew chapter 21, verses 1 to 11, and the Scripture says the following: And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come

4 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples, Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me. And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them. All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass. And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them, And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon. And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way. And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest. And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this? And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee. May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand It. Our subject is JESUS ENTERING INTO JERUSALEM AS IT WAS WRITTEN. The Scripture says that all of this happened to fulfill the Scripture, to fulfill what was written by God s prophets. What was promised to take place for that time in Jerusalem was being fulfilled there. And it was also promised, prophesied, that they would reject Him; they would reject the One they were waiting for. But Jesus Christ knew that this would happen, because He came to seek and save that which was lost; and the only way in JESUS ENTERING INTO JERUSALEM AS IT WAS... 21 One who can give it to the human being, because He is the only One who has the exclusivity to eternal Life. There is no one else who can give eternal Life to the rest of human beings, there is only One, and His Name is Lord Jesus Christ. Those who are here and those in other nations can continue coming to the Feet of Christ. Remember that receiving Christ is the only opportunity we have while we live on Earth to confirm our place in eternal Life with Christ our Savior, and thus live eternally with Him in His Kingdom. Remember that the earthly Kingdom will be taken away, and the Kingdom of Christ, the Kingdom of the Messiah will be established on Earth, which is also called the Kingdom of David, which will be restored. Saint John chapter 5, verse 21 says: For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. And He wants to give life to every one of you: eternal Life. Remember that we are living in a world that lost eternal Life in the time of Adam and Eve, and when we receive Christ, we are baptized in water in His Name, and He gives us His Spirit; that is a spiritual resurrection. That is why in Ephesians chapter 4, verses 14 and 15, Saint Paul says: Arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. He will give us what? Life, eternal Life. That resurrection is more important than the physical resurrection that a person can receive, because with a physical resurrection, the person will die again, but a spiritual resurrection is a resurrection to eternal Life. Those in other cities and nations can continue to come to the Feet of Christ our Savior, so that Christ gives you eternal Life. When we receive Christ, the existential anguish leaves us. Why is this? Because existential anguish is what happens when a person does not know where he came from, why he is on Earth, and where he is going when he dies physically. But the

20 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO Remember that the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is also represented in Jerusalem, which is why it is also called the heavenly Jerusalem, and Mount Zion. The triumphal entrance into the heavenly Jerusalem at the Last Day will be for the resurrection of the dead believers in Christ and the transformation of us who are alive. That is why we must have our lives fixed well, and we must hold on tight to Christ our Savior, waiting for our physical redemption, which will be the glorification, the transformation of our bodies, in which we will obtain immortality, we will obtain everlasting youth and we will obtain the heavenly and earthly inheritance that belongs to us as heirs of God and jointheirs with Christ our Savior. When Christ completes His Church, He will change from a Lamb into a Lion, from High Priest to King and Judge. Therefore, it is important that you take advantage of the time we are living in, before Christ leaves the Throne of Intercession, because then there will no longer be an opportunity for salvation. Therefore, if there is anyone who has not yet received Christ as Savior you can do so at this time, and say to Christ: Make your triumphal entrance here, in my heart. That will be a triumph, for Christ to enter in the soul, in the heart of every person. For which, you may come to the front and we will be praying for you, both those here present and those who are in other nations may come to the Feet of Christ so that you are included in the prayer we will be making for those who are receiving Christ as their only and sufficient Savior. Remember that eternal Life is the most important thing. If this earthly life is so important, imagine how much more important eternal Life is. We love this earthly life, although we have many struggles; we thank God for this earthly life He has given us. This life that He has given to us is for us to make contact with Christ and obtain eternal Life. And He is the only JESUS ENTERING INTO JERUSALEM AS IT WAS... 5 which He could save was by dying, for which He had to be rejected, because if they acknowledged Him then they would have never condemned Him to death. He came to die, for which He had to take our sins and thus become mortal. He could not die because He had no sin, because in order to die He had to have sin, for the wages of sin is death. And Jesus came without sin, just as Adam came thousands of years ago, but when he sinned, the Scripture says that death then entered into the human race, through Adam. Adam could have continued living throughout eternity if he had not sinned. That is what God said to him when He told him not to eat of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, because the day he did, he would die that day: death would enter into Adam and his descendants. In other words, the only way and cause by which Adam would become mortal would be if he sinned. And the only way in which Christ could become mortal was by having sin, but He had no sin, therefore, all the sins of the human race were placed upon Him. He became sin for us by taking our sins and being our representative so that He could die in our place instead, and thus deliver us from sin and death. The only one who could save humanity was a person who did not have sin, because another sinner could not do it. For which a man without sin whom we already know it s Jesus Christ had to come to take our sins, and become mortal and die in our stead, so that we could live eternally in the Kingdom of God. The entire Divine Program goes through a Divine process which God designed in order to redeem the human being. Christ Himself said: Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. (Saint John chapter 12, verse 24.) In other words, if Christ had not died, we would not be here, because every human being had to die for their sins the day

6 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO Jesus Christ died; and Jesus Christ would be living in the body He had, but He would be alone on this planet Earth. How would you feel if you had the entire planet Earth and you were alone? What good would it do you? It would be of no good, because the human being was created to have fellowship with the rest of the people and share his life here on Earth. No one likes to be lonely for a long time, and therefore, we can see that Christ doesn t either. What good would it be for Christ to continue living in the Body that He had and not be able to speak to anyone? It would have not been of benefit for Him to have come to Earth, but He said that He came to lay His life down for us. In other words, He came with a mission determined by God, and the only one who understood the purpose of His Coming was Him. Even the apostles of the Lord Jesus understood less than what all of you currently understand, because you already know the story. They did not know the story of that Divine Purpose for which Christ came to Earth; although He spoke about that Divine Purpose, but they did not understand. For example, we have the Scripture, which tells us in Saint John chapter 10, verses 14 and on: I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep Remember that those sheep are the sons and daughters of God who would later come to form part of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. Here He is already telling them that He will lay His life down for the sheep. He will lay His life down as a Sacrifice of Atonement for the sheep. Even when John the Baptist On one occasion in Saint John chapter 1, verses 27 and on, when John was preaching and baptizing in the Jordan, notice what he said about Jesus. Chapter 1 of Saint John, verse 35 and on, says: JESUS ENTERING INTO JERUSALEM AS IT WAS... 19 little ones, it would be better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. [Saint Matthew 18:6.] That is how the situation is before God for those who find themselves against the Hebrew people, the literal Israel, and against the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is the heavenly or spiritual Israel. And also, the consequence for those who rise against the earthly or spiritual Israel is judgment and curse. It is important to know the blessings spoken in Mount Gerizim, when the Hebrew people entered into the Promised Land in the days of Joshua, and the curses spoken in Mount Ebal, because those are the blessings that are given to the earthly and spiritual Israel; and the curses spoken in Mount Ebal are also for those who rise against Israel or against the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is as simple as that. And if you want an example, look at what happened to Egypt in the time of Moses: the plagues fell upon the Egyptian people. We cannot play with God, and no one can convince Him to do it differently. Who taught God? Who was His counselor? No one. Now He is our Counselor. He is the One who teaches us by His Spirit, through the different prophets He has sent from stage to stage, and here we have the teachings of God, the thought of God expressed in words. That is why the Bible is the most important book; it is the Book of God that contains the Divine Thought. JESUS ENTERING INTO JERUSALEM. We already saw that there is a promise that will be fulfilled again. It will be fulfilled in His Coming to His Church at the Last Day, and then Israel will see Him and say: He is the One we are waiting for! And they will say: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the LORD! That is how it will be, because that is how it is written. And that will be, once again, JESUS ENTERING INTO JERUSALEM AS IT IS WRITTEN.

18 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO all our soul, knowing that He is the King of the Heavens and the Earth and the King of our soul, of our heart. And currently, where is the Throne of Christ on Earth? Here, in our hearts, in the soul of every believer in Christ; and then in the Millennial Kingdom, it will also be in the midst of the Hebrew people, in the Throne of David, which is the earthly Throne of God (and God s earthly Kingdom is the Kingdom of David). Therefore, the triumphal entrance of Christ into Jerusalem was written in the Biblical prophecies; and the Second Coming of Christ is also written in the Bible. And there are more Scriptures that speak about the Second Coming of Christ than the First Coming of Christ. And the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is the one waiting for the Second Coming of Christ, and the Jews are awaiting the Coming of the Messiah as well. Remember that Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed One is one in the same. Christ means: the One Anointed with the Spirit of God, the Lord, the Anointed One, the Christ, the Messiah. Two peoples are awaiting the Coming of the Messiah: Israel And remember that He who blesses Israel will be blessed; he who curses Israel will be cursed. It is as simple as that. And it is not something we can reason with. God already said it and that s it. And whoever rises against the Hebrew people, even if they say they have reasons to do so, they have a guaranteed curse, no matter who it may be. And whoever blesses Israel has a blessing assured. And since Saint Paul says that all the believers in Christ are children of Abraham, those who bless the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ will be blessed. Those who help the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ will be blessed. Those who curse the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, those who work against the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, will be cursed. It is as simple as that. That is why it says that if anyone should offend one of these JESUS ENTERING INTO JERUSALEM AS IT WAS... 7 Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples; And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! In other words, He identified Him as the Lamb of God; and being the Lamb of God, He came to carry out the sacrifice of the paschal lamb that was commemorated according to how it was done in Egypt for the firstborn of the Hebrew people. In verse 29 of this same chapter 1, it says: The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. In other words, John the Baptist did know that Christ was going to carry out the Sacrifice of Atonement for the sins of the human being; the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. And that is why every person is responsible, not for the sin of Adam and Eve, nor for the sins of another person, but they are responsible for themselves, therefore, and for their own sins. But Christ takes away the sin of whoever receives Him as his Savior and is baptized in water in His Name, and Christ baptizes him with the Holy Spirit and fire and produces the new birth in him, and he is born in the Kingdom of God. And the Kingdom of God is not earthly, it is heavenly; therefore, he is born in Heaven and he is now a heavenly citizen. His citizenship as a new creature is in Heaven (although he stills keeps the earthly citizenship), but he is a heavenly citizen, with all the rights that belong to him as a citizen of the Kingdom of God; he is an heir of God and joint-heir with Christ our Savior. That is why the promise for all the believers in Christ is that they will be kings, priests and judges in the Kingdom of God. Christ has already established in that Millennial Kingdom what positions people will have in His Kingdom. For example, we have the apostles, to whom Christ said: You will sit upon twelve thrones and judge the twelve tribes

8 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO of Israel. [Saint Matthew 19:28.] They already know the position they will have in the Kingdom of the Messiah when it is established on Earth. Therefore, the believers in Christ, being people from the heavenly Kingdom through the new birth which Christ brings forth in people have a great inheritance in the Kingdom of God; and therefore, when the Kingdom of the Messiah is established on Earth, they will be in the highest position that a person can have in the Kingdom of the Messiah; they will be part of the Royalty. And that is the highest class there is in a kingdom: the king, the queen and their children. Then the other fields of the kingdom follow, and other important people will also occupy those positions, but only the king, the queen and their children are royalty (and the grandchildren too, as they are born). Now, that is the position of Christ, His Church, and everyone who forms the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Now, by Christ entering into Jerusalem on a donkey or colt that no one had ever ridden, this also shows that Christ was not a heavy or big person, because a colt that has never been ridden, if someone weighs 100 or 150 kilograms, 200 or 300 pounds, he could not enter Jerusalem riding a colt. He would remain in the same place where he got on the colt. But according to what experts on this subject have said, and above all Reverend William Branham, Jesus Christ weighed about 135 pounds (in other words, less than 65 kilograms) and He was about 63 [inches] tall, more or less 1.63 [meters], which would be a little bit taller than I am, but thinner than I am. In other words, the donkey, the colt was comfortable with His rider. If a person is great, that does not mean they are tall, or short, because the greatness is inside the person. And Christ was that type of person, a simple person who was a carpenter, a construction worker, working in the carpentry with Joseph (that was his occupation) and then when His ministry began at 29 JESUS ENTERING INTO JERUSALEM AS IT WAS... 17 then we will obtain immortality, everlasting youth, because Christ is the Fountain of the Youth, the Fountain of eternal Life, He is the Tree of Life. Jesus Christ is as young as when He ascended to Heaven, He resembles 18 to 21 years of age, which is the prime of youth. That is how all the believers in Christ who have died will be, when they are resurrected in glorified bodies, and those of us who are alive, when we are changed, we will be young, resembling 18 to 21 years of age. All of that is for the believers in Christ; they will receive all of this, and many other things that pertain to the inheritance of the children of God in the Kingdom of God. In other words, there are great blessings for all the believers in Christ our Savior. While we are in these bodies, we go through difficult stages, but they are stages in which our faith is tried, and they are stages in which we hold on tighter to Christ our Savior, just as Jacob did when he was in a difficult time, when he had to encounter his brother Esau, he held on very tightly to the Angel of God, the Angel of the Covenant, who appeared to him. Do you know that this Angel of the Covenant who appeared to him was Jesus Christ in His heavenly Body? Christ in His heavenly Body is the Angel of the Covenant that appeared to Jacob, which appeared to Abraham, appeared to Moses, and to the different prophets. That is why Christ would say: Before Abraham was, I am. How was He before Abraham? He was the Angel of the Covenant. That is why the promise of the Coming of the Lord to the Earth in Malachi chapter 3 is the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant to Israel, for which, He sent a forerunning messenger to prepare the way, who was John the Baptist. Jesus Christ is the most important and greatest person in the Heavens and the Earth; He is the King of the Heavens and the Earth. Therefore, when we receive Christ as our Savior and then when we are in the Mystical Body of Christ, we serve Him with

16 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO The archangels, angels, seraphim, and all the heavenly hosts are subjected to Christ. He is the King of the Heavens and the Earth. And notice, the most important person (not only on Earth but in Heaven), entered into Jerusalem and was rejected. But, know this: an important time is coming in the Divine Program where that Divine cycle in which He entered Jerusalem will be repeated. Christ Himself, speaking in Saint Matthew chapter 23, verses 37 to 39, says: O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. And it is in the Second Coming of Christ that the Hebrew people will welcome Him. But since the Hebrew people did not realize that was the Coming of the Messiah which they were waiting for, the Second Coming of the Messiah for the Jews will seemingly be the First Coming, because they did not acknowledge the First Coming of Christ, but they will acknowledge it. And the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is awaiting the Coming of Christ, His Second Coming. And the Coming of Christ will be as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords, coming for His Church and to His Church. And when the Jews see Him coming for His Church, they will say: He is the One we are waiting for! In other words, the Coming of the Lord for the Last Day will be to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. He will come with the believers in Him who have died, to resurrect them in glorified and young bodies for all of eternity, and to change all the believers in Christ that will be living in this end time, and JESUS ENTERING INTO JERUSALEM AS IT WAS... 9 and a half years old because the Scripture says that He was about or around 30 years old when He began. When He was baptized by John the Baptist and began His ministry, notice, Christ did not seem to be what they expected, because they had kings like Saul, a man who was, let s say, about two meters tall, or maybe more [over six feet tall]. But notice, he was tall and brave, but when Goliath appeared he was no longer brave. And a youngster came, named David, and faced Goliath. David was indeed great; he did not fear Goliath and he defeated him. Then Saul became jealous, because after that all the young women began to sing: Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands. [1 Samuel chapter 18, verse 25.] Then Saul said: The only left is for them give him the throne. He became jealous; but there must never be jealousy when someone struggles and obtains a victory for their people. David is type and figure of the Messiah, of Christ. Christ was reflected in David, because the Spirit of Christ was in David. The strength of David came from God, like that of Samson, the Scripture doesn t say he was a tall man either, but a man who had been promised to Manoah and his wife (Manoah was one of the judges of Israel), but when the Spirit of God came upon Samson, he was the strongest man on the planet Earth. On one occasion, he killed about one thousand soldiers with a donkey s jawbone. But it was the Spirit of God in Him doing that work. Now, Christ was reflected in all the prophets, in all the judges, and in Moses, and in Joseph the son of Jacob. That is why we find the types and figures of the Messiah in Biblical history, until the Messiah arrived, and He was the simplest man of all, to the point that He Himself said: Learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart. [Saint Matthew chapter 11, verse 29.] He was a simple man who shared with all the people, with the fishermen, with the farmers, with poor people, with everyone; and He also had fellowship with rich people. In other

10 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO words, He was a friend to all the human beings, because He came to be the One who would seek and save the sheep that the Father gave him to seek and save. Notice, He was the leader in whom the Spirit of God dwelled to carry out the Work of Redemption, the Work that would save the human being. Some people have not yet understood that we are alive because a man died two thousand years ago on Calvary s Cross, taking and carrying our sins; and therefore, He died in our stead. Now, notice why Christ was rejected thousands of years ago (about two thousand years ago) in Jerusalem, despite being the King, the descendant Son of King David, the Heir to the Throne of David, the One whom Angel Gabriel said that God would give the Throne of David to. Saint Luke chapter 1, verses 26 to 36. Let us see what the Angel Gabriel told the Virgin Mary in Saint Luke chapter 1, verses 30 and on, it says: And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. That was the promise made to the Virgin Mary regarding the child she would have. He would be Emmanuel, which means: God with us. Because God was in Him in all His fullness. That is why He said: I am come in my Father's Name, and ye receive me not: And ye will not come to me, that ye might have eternal life. That is in Saint John chapter 5 Saint John chapter 5, verses 39 to 40. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. JESUS ENTERING INTO JERUSALEM AS IT WAS... 15 who is born in the wheat plant, the Church, are sons and daughters of God; they are the sheep of the Father that Christ was given to seek. Therefore, Christ s triumphal entrance into Jerusalem had a Divine Purpose, which was fulfilled, and then God would turn to the Gentiles, to call from among the Gentiles a people for His Name. That is why the Gentiles, all the nations, for two thousand years, have had the opportunity to obtain the redemption and eternal Life through Christ our Savior. He has already carried out the Work, people only need to accept Him as their Savior; He has already carried out the Sacrifice of Atonement for our sins. He has already carried out the salvation, that is why He says: Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. [Saint Mark 16:15-16.] It is as simple as that. In other words, people don t have many options, only one of two: to believe and be saved and live eternally, or to disbelieve and be condemned and cease to exist for all of eternity. God has made the program of salvation and eternal Life very simple for all people, so that the poor and the rich are at the same level, so that those who are educated and uneducated are at the same level. Because it is not through human knowledge, but by faith in Christ, by hearing the Word, the Gospel of Christ, that the faith of Christ is born in our soul, we receive Him as our Savior, we are baptized in water in His Name, and Christ baptizes us with the Holy Spirit and fire, and produces the new birth in us. And in this way, we are placed in the Kingdom of God; and therefore, we have secured our eternal future with Christ in His eternal Kingdom, and He is seated in the Throne of the Father, and therefore, all the Creation is subjected to Him. That is why He said: All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. [Saint Matthew chapter 28, verse 18].

14 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO And Christ also says: And how will the Scriptures be fulfilled? Christ came to fulfill what was promised that the Messiah the Prince would carry out. Our future depended on what Christ did, and we give thanks to God, because He fulfilled what was written of Him. And anyone who hears that we thank God for the death of Christ may say: But how can they be happy and joyful for the death of Christ? Because He took away our sins and thus He redeemed us, and furthermore: Christ resurrected; He is alive, and He is in Heaven, seated on the Throne of God as He said that the Son of Man would be, seated at the right Hand of God in Heaven. In other words, there are no feelings of sorrow for the death of Christ on Calvary s Cross, but rather joy, because He was dying for us, but then He would resurrect, glorified. And He is seated on the Throne, He Himself says this in Revelation chapter 3, verse 20 to 21, where it says: To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. See? And He had said that He would sit with the Father on the Throne. Therefore, we are happy that Christ was rejected in His triumphal entrance as King. If He were not rejected, He would still be living in His physical body, but alone, because all the other human beings would have had to die. That is what the parable of the grain of wheat says Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit (many sons and daughters of God). [Saint John 12:24.] Because the wheat plant, which is His Church, was born on the Day of Pentecost, and through His Church, He has been producing the new birth in millions of human beings. That is the corn of wheat reproducing itself through the wheat plant (His Church) in many corns of wheat, many sons and daughters of God. You and I are corns of wheat, and Christ is the seed that was sown; and that is why if He is the Son of God, then everyone JESUS ENTERING INTO JERUSALEM AS IT WAS... 11 If someone does not want to come to Christ, receiving Him as Savior, then he does not want to have eternal Life. As simple as that. And therefore, he cannot expect for Christ to give him eternal Life if he doesn t receive Christ as his Savior. Any person may say: I did not know it was this way. It is good that you know, so that you know what to do in order to have eternal Life. First John chapter 5, verse 10 to 13, says: God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. - He that hath the Son hath life (in other words, eternal Life); he that hath not the Son of God (Christ) hath not life (does not have that eternal Life). Therefore, he can t make imaginary plans that he will live eternally, because he who doesn't believe in Christ, knows he won t live eternally. He thinks that this life we live on Earth is the only life, and that after he dies, everything ends. No, when the person dies, he continues living. And it is strange to say that when a person dies, he continues living; it s because what dies is the physical body, which is the dwelling place or earthly house, but the person is soul, spirit, and body. Therefore, it was the physical body that died, and the person continues living in another dimension, in the spiritual body (which is like our physical body but from another dimension). And the person goes to the dimension he belongs to: if he is a believer in Christ, he goes to Paradise (which is the sixth dimension, the dimension of the Angels), and he continues living over there in the spiritual body, which is young. In other words, he will be like he was in his young years, from 18 to 21 years old, and from there, he looks over here and sees the believers in Christ in their activities: singing to God, worshiping God, praying to God, and hearing the Word of God. It is important to understand these things so that we know why every person needs to receive Christ as Savior if he wants to live eternally. Remember that the biggest decision a person can make is to

12 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO receive Christ as Savior, because that is the only decision in life that places a person in eternal Life with Christ in His eternal Kingdom. And he must do it while he lives in this earthly life; afterwards, there will no longer be an opportunity if he didn t receive Him as his Savior. What will happen to him is what happened to the rich man from the parable Christ spoke, that later on, he woke up Christ says in hell, and he asked for Lazarus to dip his finger in water, and not even that was granted to him. He wanted Lazarus, who was in Paradise, in Abraham s bosom, to go with his finger dipped in water. And he was told Abraham said no to him, the ones who were in Paradise, where Abraham was, could not pass from there to where the rich man was, and those who were where the rich man was, could not pass into Paradise. A great abyss separated them. Then, he wanted Abraham to send Lazarus to Earth to speak to his brothers, so that his brothers would not go to that place, but instead fix their lives before God so they would not go to hell, the place where the rich man was, but instead to Abraham s bosom, to Paradise. But again, Abraham said no. Abraham told him: Neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. [Saint Luke 16:19-31.] Notice, the evidence is that Jesus Christ died and resurrected, and more than half of humanity do not believe in Christ; and Christ is seated as King in the Heavenly Throne of God. That is why He said: All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. (Saint Matthew chapter 28, verse 16 to 20.) Therefore, we have the Scripture, which speaks to us of all these things. Abraham told him: They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. In other words, to believe in what God has spoken through His instruments, which is written in His Word. Christ Himself said on one occasion that the Scriptures gave JESUS ENTERING INTO JERUSALEM AS IT WAS... 13 testimony of Him: Search the scriptures for... they are they which testify of me, said Christ. [Saint John 5:39.] And the Scriptures were giving testimony of Christ, that the Messiah, the King of Israel, would enter into Jerusalem on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of an ass [a pack or burden animal]. In other words, the prophetic Word was being quickened, becoming a reality, the prophetic Word given by God through the prophets was being fulfilled, such as Zechariah chapter 9, verse 9 and also Psalms in Psalms and Isaiah also. Everything that God has done is based on the prophetic Word. Therefore, the history of humanity is the story of the fulfillment of the prophetic Word from God to the human race. That is why the Bible is the most important Book humanity has; it is the Divine Thought expressed by the Spirit of God through the prophets He has sent throughout the history of the human race. And everything God has done, is doing and will do, will be the fulfillment of what He has promised. Now, this entrance of Christ into Jerusalem, He knew they would reject Him, and He knew what followed, He knew that He would be crucified and He would die for the sheep that the Father gave to Him to seek and give eternal Life. We can imagine what Jesus Christ was thinking, being aware of all these things He had to go through, and knowing that His disciples did not understand. On one occasion Jesus told His disciples that it would be a good idea that He had to go to up Jerusalem, and that the Son of Man would be taken prisoner, judged, and sentenced, and be crucified. And Peter said: This shall not happen unto Thee. As anyone else would think, if they were to say: Look, when you go to such place, there is danger of death, don t go over there. That is what Peter is telling Him, because Christ is telling him that He will die there. And Christ tells Him: Get thee behind me, Satan! He even calls him Satan, but it s because the devil did not want Christ to carry out the Sacrifice of Atonement.
