FUNERAL MASS TO CELEBRATE THE LIFE OF Graduation Day Diploma of Secondary Institute of Catholic Education 1986 8 FEBRUARY 1957-2 APRIL 2018
ST MARY S CATHOLIC CHURCH, MYRTLEFORD MONDAY, 9 MARCH 2018-11.00AM Entrance Hymn ~ HEAR I AM LORD Order of Service I, the Lord of sea and sky, I have heard my people cry. All who dwell in dark and sin my hand will save. I who made the stars of night, I will make their darkness bright. Who will bear my light to them? Whom shall I send? Refrain: Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord? I have heard you calling in the night. I will go, Lord, if you lead me. I will hold your people in my heart. I, the Lord of snow and rain, I have borne my people's pain. I have wept for love of them, they turn away. I will break their hearts of stone, give them hearts for love alone. I will speak my word to them. Whom shall I send? (Refrain) Greeting and Introduction PRESIDER - Father Pompeyo Tan CONCELEBRANT - Father John Corcoran (used with permission, Word of Life International 333E) Dan Schutte / New Dawn Music Footprints In The Sand One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonged to him, and the other to the LORD. When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life. This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it: "LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me." The LORD replied: "My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you." Gradu Diploma ary Insti olic Edu

On the day of her Baptism Adriana was clothed in Christ and given Christian dignity for ever. May Christ now enfold her in His love and bring her into eternal life. Opening Prayer Into your hands, O Lord, we humbly entrust our sister Adriana. In this life you embraced her with your tender love. Deliver her now from every evil and bid her enter eternal rest. The old order has passed away; welcome her then into paradise, where there will be no sorrow, no weeping nor pain, but the fullness of peace and joy with your Son and the Holy Spirit for ever and ever. We ask this through Christ our Lord. First Reading Timothy 4:6-8 Giselle Comerford A reading from the second letter of St Paul to Timothy As for me the hour has come for me to go. The time is here for me to leave this life. I have done my best in the race, I have run the full distance, I have kept the faith. And now, the prize of victory is waiting for me, the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on that day, and not only me, but all those who wait with love, for Him to appear. The Word of the Lord. Thanks be to God. Signs of Farewell (Incensing of the coffin) Song of Farewell Saints of God, come to her aid! Hasten to meet her, angels of the Lord! Jesus said to his disciples: Peace I leave you, my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid. I have come from the Father and have come into the world, again I am leaving the world and am going to the Father. If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I. You are sad now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you. The Gospel of the Lord. Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ.
