Hi, just a reminder that you're receiving this email because you have expressed an interest in Scoop Ministries, Inc. Don't forget to add Becki@sharethescoop.org to your address book so we'll be sure to land in your inbox! You may unsubscribe if you no longer wish to receive our emails. How is your daily spiritual conditioning workout going? I pray that your spiritual core is being strengthened as you use God's spinner daily and ask yourself questions such as: 1. What have you done today to nourish your spiritual core in Christ? 2. How can you show love to someone this week who needs it? 3. In what ways is the Holy Spirit in you...overflowing to others? Remember that moving, living water, continually renews and satisfies the inner-most needs of the heart. ISSUE 60 - FALL ISSUE (Sept/Oct) Greetings in the name of the Lord! The 10th annual Share the Scoop Conference was yet another victory for God! The entire team, attendees and event were wellcovered in prayer for nine months leading up to the day of the conference. Fourteen Christian churches were represented at the conference. Scoop Ministries, Inc. mission was played out, as 275

women across denominational and cultural lines, gathered together to worship, pray and connect with one another. Thank you to all of you who attended and helped the conference to net over $5,000. "The Overflow" of His living water was the theme for the day. When you flow with it, you are not thirsty. You are not weary. You are not defeated, overwhelmed or frantic. You are standing up, living out God's will daily. Women were encouraged to operate in their God-given identity. We were reminded to not allow our "Living Water" in us, to become stagnant. We cannot accept the lies the enemy throws at us because the One who is in us is greater than the one who is throwing the lies. Living water in us means we are more than enough because God is enough. Over 200 prayer cards were filled out and collected. Women continue to pray for one another as we did together on the day of the conference. It was and is a beautiful thing to lift one another up in prayer! Here are some comments received by women expressing their thoughts about the day: "Wonderful worship! Thank you for speaking God's word of truth into our hearts." "The day was well orchestrated, inspiring, informative, anointed." "In all the Scoop events I've attended or helped with, this has by far been my favorite and it most impacted me personally." "The diversity of the testimonies brought some great messages which encouraged me." "It was my first time attending and I met the most amazing kind and compassionate ladies in Tracy." Memories of August 26, 2017

Our memory verse for this Fall is: "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful." Colossians 3:15 A TRIPLE SCOOP OF HIS WORD...

Scoop Ministries, Inc. has assisted 63 women and 5 organizations to date since this 2008. To God we give all the glory! Thank you Janette (pictured above left) and Silvia (pictured at right on staff with Healthy Connections) who screen our applicants and help to administer this program on behalf of SMI The Flavors of Hope program provides financial support to local women who may be in a short-term crisis. All completed SMI grant applications must be submitted to and reviewed by the staff at Community Partnership for Families of San Joaquin (CPFSJ), before SMI will consider the application.

Office location of CPFSJ Tracy Family Resource Center Healthy Connections 35 E. 10th Street, Suite A Tracy, CA 95376 209-229-4922 Imagine my surprise when I saw that Facebook has a new fundraising opportunity... care of Network for Good. My birthday was coming up and I thought, "Hallelujah, Lord! People can give to my favorite charity, instead of giving me more stuff! I'm overflowing with stuff that I need to donate myself! When this fundraiser birthday idea happened, I jumped on inviting close friends and family to give to Scoop Ministries, Inc. because we provide funds for women in shortterm crisis. I've been there myself, so it's close to my heart. When my son was ill at the same time as my mom's decline to Alzheimer's, I wasn't working much. I wasn't sleeping much either, as the stress manifested in that way. Above all, I was thankful and blessed that our church helped us through the really hard times. Network for Good is a nonprofit fundraiser company, and a friend had just done one for his birthday. So imagine my surprise when Becki asked me about a check which had come in for over $200! And all the amounts said "anonymous," which is exactly the way you'd want to give, following the example set in Matthew 6:3-4, "But when you give to someone in need, don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. Give your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you." When I went to bed that night, after seeing a picture of the check, I had tears in my eyes. Looking back on it, I think my mom was saying Happy Birthday from above, and nudging some of my friends and family to give as well. So THANK YOU, if you gave thru this opportunity or any other opportunity to support the work SMI does. We also had a Scoop sister who got married this year, and she had her guests donate to Scoop Ministries, Inc. instead of getting gifts. So think about your sisters in need. When you have a special occasion coming up, maybe you can direct them to our website, as you can donate online at http://sharethescoop.org/givingserving/donations. Or check out https://www.facebook.com/networkforgood. You might just cause a miracle of overflowing joyful tears... like my recent gifts given to SMI, did for me... in honor of my birthday. written by Deb Littleton We rely on all annual individual gifts to help make this ministry grow! We have online donating available through our website.

You can give monthly or give a one-time gift. All monetary amounts matter! If mailing in, please make checks out to Scoop Ministries Inc. and mail to the address below. Our Mission: Fan out into our community & beyond to reach all women, so that the flavors of Jesus Christ can be shared. SMI is a 100% run, non-profit organization & all gifts are tax deductible. www.sharethescoop.org 793 S.
