(Wet rag, snorkel, mug, flowerpot ) Can water be dangerous? Could it be possible to rain continuously and put everything under water? No! But - once upon a time very long ago it really happened Main part Memorize Show the multimedia DVD Link to the door of the ark (as the only way to salvation) Open the huge door made of wallpaper and study the bible verse. Build a huge ship with chairs as shown on illustration and retell the story: the children play the role of Noah, his wife, 3 sons and 3 daughters-in-law Optionally animals, the role of the evil is being played by the narrator. For children older than 8 you may discuss the subject. Space, time and an assistant should be available for this purpose. How can I be saved for God s eternity? Please note whether the children are only interested or they are touched by the Spirit of God and need to make a decision to start a life with Jesus. Games For the following suggestions a card can be attached to the program rope. The children throw a big foam dice in turns. For a group size bigger than 20 children set the program rope aside and choose 2-3 specific suggestions. Reward suggestions for the program rope: For one winning point each child of the team receives one gummy bear or one popcorn or... The reward is handed over only at the end of the program. If there are more then 11 children you should form two groups. Guessing smells: Empty film container with vegetable or spices (pepper, cinnamon, curry, paprika, oniony ) or fruits (bananas, oranges, strawberry jam, raspberry juice ) Who will guess the most? The chief orders: mention two names of the children who will have to excute the order: bring me a spoon/ a shoe/ a rope Who is the fastest? Labyrinth: Two children have their eyes bound and have to overcome a slight obstacle course (chairs, trash cans, brooms ). A further volunteer is assisting the child and is only allowed to guide the child by words. Key hole spy: A volunteer goes behind the door. Now you send 1-3 children in turns to the inside of the door and they have to be recognized through the key hole by the volunteer by looking into his/her eyes. Water quiz: Form groups. Each group receives a slip of paper and pencils. They have to find as many terms as possible for the water theme word within a certain period of time. Water contest: In a relay children have to try to empty a water container with a mug. 5 Germany

Games To gather fruits and vegetables: Fresh or dried pieces of fruit and vegetables are hidden in the room Fill a large box with hay or straw and hide little toy animals inside of it. Who finds the most animals within half a minute? Animal memory: One memory card from a memory game with animals and an empty film container with the appropriate food go together. It is being played just as the normal memory game with cards. (game card 1+1) Hand craft Paper cut-out of the ark Huge rainbow on wallpaper roll or window painting with finger paint makes a nice room decoration for youth group rooms (paint brush) Ark-CD with the running animals.
