Come join us in welcoming our newest members to Mount Hope, bring your favorite dishes to welcome our honored guests and prepare to be entertained by talented members of the church. It will be more fun with you here! We heard you! If you have noticed a few additions to worship you are right! The music and worship committee received your comments on the worship surveys and have made every effort to structure worship around your comments. Over 90% of the surveys desired a blended worship style. You may notice that we are singing different types of music from hymns to contemporary Christian songs and we are repeating new songs several weeks in a row to give us the best opportunity to learn them. In a blended worship, it is possible that you will come to church one Sunday and sing songs that you wouldn t call your favorite. That is ok because we do not come to church to sing our favorite song, we come to church to sing our neighbor s favorite song!! (However, Joan would love to hear your requests!) The choir has been doing a great job embracing the changes in music and we hope you continue to enjoy their leadership through song. From standing in different places to learning new styles of music, the choir is listening to God calling us all to do a new thing for the sake of the gospel. The Psalmist reminds us, Sing a new song to the Lord! Affordable Piano Lessons at Mount Hope: Interested in learning how to play the piano or increase the keyboard skills you already have? Mt.
