We do not have e-mail addresses for many Latest News October 2018 Sadly, Bernice Titterington Golden died on October 8, 2018 of pneumonia. She was a well-known psychic doing over 20,000 psychic readings in her career. She often told the story of recognizing her psychic powers
at age 4 and developing them with the help of an intuitive grandmother. Bernice stopped working in June due to ill health, appeared to be recovering, then died of pneumonia in her home on October 8 th. She made predictions not only on the local level (helping police) but on a national level as well. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s she appeared on TV and radio shows and did newspaper interviews. The oldest child of Norman & Dorothy Tourville Tittering with 4 children: David Smyers, Doug Smyers, Dale Smyers and DeAnna Golden-Arabaty. There was a half-page entry in Buffalo News on October 9 th announcing her passing. July 2018 We started out with a very informal gathering at Squires Pub on Thursday, July 12 th with several people attending sharing a drink, catching up and staying for dinner. On Friday, July 13 th informal gathering at Eldredge Club for conversation, pizza & snacks. Over 50 people attended were you one of them? If so, hope you had a great time. If not, well, you missed an opportunity to connect with fellow classmates and we missed connecting with you. On Sunday July 15 th Golden Warriors Picnic had around 400 people attending from all classes graduating 50 years or more. Again it was a grand time. Our oldest attendee ever was 102 years old graduating in the 1930s.
June 2018 James Linenfelser passed away this month. Don t have any more information than that. March 2018 Carol Baker s husband, Ken Zuhr (THS62) passed away in October We have booked the Eldridge Club for an informal gathering in 2018. Save the date & time: Eldridge Club 7:00 pm Friday, July 13 th, 2018 July 2017 William Paul Carney, Jr. 71, of Sun City Center, Fla passed away June 3, 2017. He retired as a tool and die maker and served the United States Army National Guard. Bill was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of St John the Divine Episcopal Church and served as President of the Church's Men's Club in Sun City Center, Fla. In addition, he was a volunteer Lay Eucharistic Minister and Lay Eucharistic Minister Coordinator for the 11 am church service. He was predeceased by his brother James Carney. Survivors include his wife, Paulette, three sons, David Carney, Brian (Denise) Carney and Christopher Hill. Two grandsons, Matthew Carney and Patrick Carney, a granddaughter, Madison Carney, and two brothers, John (Fran) Carney and Don (Michelle) Carney, and
sister in law Pam Carney. Memorial service will be 5:00 pm Monday, June 19, 2017 at St John the Divine Episcopal Church, 1015 Del Webb Boulevard East. June 2017 Richard Carr is on an around the world sailing journey, currently traversing the Pacific Ocean on the way to French Polynesia. All signals from his boat stopped Sunday night June 4, 1017 after some indications he was encountering problems. The US Coast Guard is leading a search effort to determine if he is in need of assistance. Prayers for his safe delivery to his intended destination are appreciated. From Dick s brother, John Carr. May 2017 Wagner, Gary L., 71, retired SMSgt, USAF, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on Tuesday May, 16, 2017. He was born in North Tonawanda, NY on November 6, 1945 to the late Donald and Mildred Wagner. He was also predeceased by his in-laws, Charles R. and Arleta Schreiber. Surviving are his loving wife of 50 years, Marsha R. Wagner, his sons Kevin (Amy), Brian (Kimberly) and Chris; his daughters Kimberly (Chris) Bolling and Ashley Wagner, 8 wonderful grandchildren and 1 beautiful great grand-daughter. Also left to cherish his memory are his brother, Dave (Christine) Wagner and his
sisters and brothers-in law as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Gary loved his church and his church family and the Lions. He was the choir director, Elder, and Sunday school teacher of the Boones Mill Christian Church. He was the president of the Cave Spring Lions Club and the Lions Sight Foundation. In lieu of flowers the family requests that support be sent to his passion via memorials made to the Boones Mill Christian Church or the Cave Spring Lions Club in Gary s honor. March 2017 Marsha Edwards O'Brien passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017 after a long battle with lung cancer Mary Reinhart Watters' husband died suddenly on March 2, 2017.
