Children's Worship As we begin Lent and look forward to Easter our Bible stories this month will focus on Parables that Jesus shared with the disciples and the crowds who followed him. Parables are not easy to understand, even by adults, but young children can begin to understand the lessons they offer to us. Over the years we will revisit these same parables and children gain a deeper understanding as they develop and grow in their faith. Children s Worship is an opportunity for young children to encounter and worship God. Our worship time includes biblical stories, prayers, and creative response activities that help children begin to understand scripture and experience God s presence. Following the children s message each week, children (ages 3 years through grade 2) gather in room 10 for this developmentally appropriate worship time.
