Children's Worship As we begin Lent and look forward to Easter our Bible stories this month will focus on Parables that Jesus shared with the disciples and the crowds who followed him. Parables are not easy to understand, even by adults, but young children can begin to understand the lessons they offer to us. Over the years we will revisit these same parables and children gain a deeper understanding as they develop and grow in their faith. Children s Worship is an opportunity for young children to encounter and worship God. Our worship time includes biblical stories, prayers, and creative response activities that help children begin to understand scripture and experience God s presence. Following the children s message each week, children (ages 3 years through grade 2) gather in room 10 for this developmentally appropriate worship time. Childrens Fish Bank One Great Hour of Sharing -- fish banks not just for kids anymore. Join the kids of the church by filling the giant fish bank in the narthex. Every Sunday during lent until Palm Sunday, April 14, there will be a giant fish bank in the narthex for contributions to this special offering.

Easter Brunch 9:00-10:15 a.m. Scrambled eggs, ham, muffins and fresh fruit will be served. There will be an Easter Egg hunt for the kids at 9:00. Free will offering. Easter Lilies are available to donate for $9. Make checks payable to the church and indicate who you will be celebrating or remembering. You may drop it off in the church office or in the collection plate by April 21. Contact Elizabeth Swee with questions - 701-446-7479.
