K-K-K-K-KRAZY PRAISE!!! By Dr. Dan Cheatham I. OBJECT LESSON with a member from the congregation (don't really pop them like a chiropractor, just pretend to be doing so): THE BELIEVER'S CALENDAR and SCHEDULE includes many CHIROPRACTOR APPOINTMENTS for HOLY GHOST ADJUSTMENTS. As a matter of fact, these adjustments should occur DAILY in prayer and devotions with God and His Word! II. The Lord gave me (and hence this church by default) a CHALLENGE FOR 2019 - Here is what He whispered to my heart: "CRAZY PRAISE!" He wants some exuberance! He wants some NOISE! He wants some UNBRIDLED EXPRESSIONS! God is saying, "Come on now, I want some CRAZY PRAISE! CUT LOOSE! GO WILD! CAST AWAY YOUR INHIBITIONS! Will you please just forget about yourself and PRAISE ME! Your self-consciousness is killin' you. Get your eyes off "me, myself and I" and onto "Father, Son and Holy Ghost!" (PRAISE ME more than you cast down imaginations and pull down strongholds, more than you bind and loose. PRAISE ME more than you watch TV shows. PRAISE ME more than you talk about other people. PRAISE ME more than you read the news or watch the news. PRAISE ME more than you spend time in self-criticism and introspection. Let out some hearty Hallelujahs, please!) 1 Samuel 21:13 KJV - And he changed his behaviour before them, and feigned himself mad in their hands, and scrabbled on the doors of the gate [Psalm 34 is what David spoke loudly and Page 1 of 6

scribbled on the door!] and let his spittle fall down upon his beard. [Can you say, "Baby Drool or Spit-Up?" Or maybe better yet, "Foaming at the Mouth!"] 14 Then said Achish unto his servants, Lo, ye see the man is mad: wherefore then have ye brought him to me? [Insane Praiser!] 15 Have I need of mad men, that ye have brought this fellow to play the mad man in my presence? [God, however, likes you to play in His presence and to be madly in love with Him!] shall this fellow come into my house? Chapter 22:1 David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam: and when his brethren and all his father's house heard it, they went down thither to him. 2 And every one that was in DISTRESS, and every one that was in DEBT, and every one that was DISCONTENTED, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men. [David instantly had himself a 3D Church - a motley crew of 400 people in D. istress, in D.ebt and those D.iscontented, even to include his own brothers. Some churches are 2D - made up of only the D. isparaging and the D.istinguished in their own estimation, but David's first church family knew themselves to be but ordinary people in great need of God.] Page 2 of 6 Can you SAY ALOUD, CRAZY PRAISE TO MY GOD!" Can you SAY ALOUD, "K-K-K-K-KRAZY PRAISE!". (Crazy Praise, by the way, makes you B-B-B-B-Bad To The Bone!) Psalm 34:1 KJV - (A Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed.) I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. 3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. 4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. 5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. 6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. 7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. 8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. 9 O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. 10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. Can you SHOUT, "CRAZY PRAISE TO MY GOD!"

Can you SHOUT, "K-K-K-K-Krazy Praise to The One Who sits on The Throne!" III. RECITE THIS PSALM NOW WITH CRAZY PRAISE (FEELING, EMOTION, LOUD VOLUME, ENTHUSIASM, INFLECTION, AND INTONATION): Psalm 103:1 - KJV (A Psalm of David.) Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. Can you BOLDLY DECLARE with your lungs and lips, "CRAZY PRAISE TO MY GOD! Can you BOLDLY DECLARE with your lungs and lips, "K-K-K-K-Krazy Praise to my King!" IV. PLAYING BEFORE THE LORD! 2 Samuel 6:20 KJV - Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself! 21 And David said unto Michal, It was before the LORD, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel: therefore will I play before the LORD. "PLAY" BEFORE THE LORD - Hebrew: "make merry, laugh, dance, rejoice." Page 3 of 6

("before the Lord" - in other words, "in His sight") OLD SONG from the 1970 s TITLED - "I WILL DANCE LIKE DAVID DID!" It wasn't TO YOU, Michal! It was to my Lord! You may be my beloved wife, BUT... you are NOT my Lord! Sure enough it was IN THE ASSEMBLY, but you, Michal, failed altogether to understand true Praise & Worship, girl! This is UPWARD STUFF not OUTWARD FLUFF! This is FROM THE HEART, NOT FROM THE HEAD! This is GOD BUSTLE, not MAN HUSTLE! presence! So, you greatly err, my darling! This is NOT MERE ENTERTAINMENT of men; rather SHEER ASCERTAINMENT of God's If it ain't JEWISH PRAISE (boisterous and extravagant) it AIN'T PRAISE AT ALL! Can you SING, "CRAZY PRAISE TO MY GOD!" Can you SING, "K-K-K-K-Krazy Praise to my one and only Lord and Savior!" V. IF YOU'RE HAVING TROUBLE GETTING INTO INTIMATE WORSHIP AND ADORATION......PRAISE HIM AWHILE FIRST until the shackles of low emotions, random thoughts, and distractions fall off first. Praise is a PRELIM to worship. Praise is the APPETIZER. WORSHIP is the main course. Then Praise is the DESERT that caps it all off! Page 4 of 6

Praise is akin to jumper cables or the ignition of your car. Praise leads the way. Worship is the way. Praise "greases the skids," so to speak. To grease the skids: is a phrase which means "to facilitate". The phrase arose in shipbuilding, where skids were used to facilitate getting the huge ships of the day into the water from the shipyards. VI. IN SUMMARY: Habakkuk 3:1 AMP - A PRAYER of Habakkuk the prophet, set to wild, enthusiastic, and triumphal music. CRAZY PRAISE changes the ATMOSPHERE! CRAZY PRAISE is RECKLESS! CRAZY PRAISE is ABANDONED! CRAZY PRAISE is NOISY! CRAZY PRAISE is VOCAL! CRAZY PRAISE is LOUD! CRAZY PRAISE DANCES! (Hebrew: twirl and kick) CRAZY PRAISE SHOUTS! CRAZY PRAISE is DISINFECTANT! CRAZY PRAISE is BUG SPRAY! Page 5 of 6

CRAZY PRAISE goes UP not OUT! CRAZY PRAISE is BOTH PRIVATE and PUBLIC! CRAZY PRAISE doesn't care WHO MIGHT HEAR! CRAZY PRAISE doesn't care WHO MIGHT SEE! CRAZY PRAISE doesn't care WHAT OTHERS THINK! CRAZY PRAISE is throwing a HALLELUJAH BREAKDOWN! And then THROWING ANOTHER! AND ANOTHER! CRAZY PRAISE offers it first as a SACRIFICE and continues long enough until it turns into a GIFT!!! CRAZY PRAISE is TO HIM, not just ABOUT HIM! Can you MAKE SOME NOISE and say, "CRAZY PRAISE TO MY GOD! Can you MAKE SOME NOISE and say, K-K-K-K-Krazy Praise to The One who shed His sinless blood for me!" Page 6 of 6
