Sunday Night Kick-Off: Calvary will offer Bible studies for the adults and college taught by our ministerial staff, youth igroups will begin, 4 years old - 6th grade will have children's musical rehearsal, and 3 and below will go to nursery. This December our worship choir will present God Coming Down, a Praise and Worship Christmas with Travis Cottrell. Fresh, new songs are mixed with classic Christmas carols. Beginning September 11 please join our choir on Sundays at 4:00 p.m. in the worship center to prepare this beautiful celebration of the birth of Jesus. Everyone grade 7 and up is invited to attend. CHILDREN S CHRISTMAS MUSICAL Dec. 11 th @ 6:00 p.m. Students grades 1-3 led by Brenda Lofton will team up with preteens grades 4-6 led by Robin Davis to present Back to the Manger: A Caroling Adventure Through Time. This fun, energetic Christmas presentation does a great job of connecting with the culture of today s kids. We want to invite all students grades 1-6 to join us for a kick off party on September 11 th in the multi-purpose room. Rehearsals will be on Sundays from 5:30 6:30 p.m. We also have a project for four year olds through Kindergarten called The Big Picture: Created to Connect, Serve, Share. This music curriculum not only teaches young children about worship and music, but also emphasizes missions across the world. Led by Lici Powell and Tanya Paul, this group will meet on Sundays from 5:30 6:30 p.m. in the Ocean Room. This group will do a presentation prior to the larger children s musical on Dec.11 at 6:00 p.m. WORSHIP AND DRAMA FOR YOUTH Beginning Sept. 11 we will begin a new youth drama ministry which will meet on Sundays at 4:00 p.m. in the multi-purpose room. This group led by Michelle Tolar is open to all students grades 9-12 who feel called to be used by God in the area drama related to thematic interpretation. During this time all middle school students who like to sing are encouraged to join the worship choir as it prepares God Coming Down for December. Overflow, our youth praise team, is seeking out additional singers as well as a drummer for the fall season.
