GRACE CHURCH VISION To partner with God in transforming people from unbelievers to fully devoted disciples of Jesus to the glory of God. GRACE CHURCH CORE VALUES We are unashamedly God-centered! The triune God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit is the One we worship and serve to His glory. We are passionately people-focused! People, regardless of their spiritual condition, matter to God and to us. We are strategically team-based! We believe ministry is best accomplished in teams of people with diverse gifts and abilities who are bound together with common purpose and covenants of trust. WE COUNT BECAUSE PEOPLE COUNT! REACH Contact Patti Nemazie pnemazie@egracechurch.com 2013 THRID SATURDAY RECAP: Our Third Saturday Outreach Ministries served over 5,000 households this past year with more than 830 volunteers. We gave out over 250,000 pounds of food and more than 10,000 pounds of pet food. The medical team performed over 400 medical assessments. Over 400 haircuts were given. Thousands of food samples were given away by Pantry Possibilities. The prayer team prayed with 2,217 people with 89 first-time commitments to Jesus and 35 recommitments. ACCESS served over 100 guests and our translations team

served over 500 guests. Our Choice Pantry Pilot Program served 54 guests with 43 volunteers. We give God all the glory! OMA s HEART CHRISTMAS MINISTRY provided gifts for more than 1,198 children in our community this year. They gave away more than 100 bibles, and over 100 volunteers served. One small testimony of joy this ministry has brought from Audrey McFalls: I spoke to a Mom on Saturday that shared that her husband is sick and had to leave his job. She was a stay at home mom with 4 children. She and her husband had absolutely no idea how they were going to stretch their budget to pay bills and get Christmas gifts. The following day her son came home from school with a note in his backpack about Oma s Heart. She fell to her knees because she knew without a doubt that the note was a gift from God. GED MINISTRY is on holiday break. Sessions are back Wednesday, January 8. This year the GED Ministry served over 350 students; 65+ new students and more than 10 graduates. Volunteers served more than 500 hours. GED MINISTRY NEEDS: a business or Rotary club interested in sponsoring the new special calculators that will be needed for the new curriculum. Also needed are one dozen small white boards. Students will no longer be using paper. All work will be done on the personal size whiteboards. DO YOU KNOW ALEGBRA? The GED Ministry needs 3 volunteers with the gift to work one on one with adult students in Algebra! Sessions are Wednesday evenings from 6 PM to 8 PM or Saturday mornings from 9 to noon. Volunteers will work with 1 to 3 students at different learning levels. If you have a passion for adult learners and Algebra and can donate a couple hours per month, please contact Carmen Salomé at 239.745.5127. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: 2 volunteers with computer/admin gifts needed to be trained on how to give the TABE online test. This test is given three Saturdays (8:30 AM until noon) per month during the GED sessions to all new students registering (four students per Saturday). Contact Carmen Salomé at 239.745.5127. AARP FOUNDATION TAX-AIDE SEEKING VOLUNTEERS - AARP Foundation Tax-Aide, the nation s largest free volunteer-run tax preparation and assistance service is seeking volunteers. We have been preparing taxes at the Grace Community Center for 3 years serving an average of 400 clients a year with limited volunteers. We need your help! Volunteers directly involved with the tax return receive free tax preparation training. For more information, please contact Cheryl Wilcox 239.671.0087
