2016/2017 Maple Syrup Financial Report The syrup sales continue to grow and expenses were declining because of less wood useage from past years. The results are posted below. Our youth numbers were not as great in past years and we tapped 500 less trees. Our syrup production was 300 gallons for 2017 which is 200 gallons less than previous years. We sell about 350 to 400 gallons of syrup each year. The Syrup committee (Pete Lindgren, Michelle Lynch, Don Hansen and Sydney Paredes) met on August 23 and is moving forward to explore possible collaboration of maple activities (sap collection and sales) with the youth group from Peace Lutheran Church in Dresser, WI and is planning to meet with youth staff from Peace in September. Thanks to all who volunteered their time and energy toward this mission.
