Happy A real family man is one who looks at his new child as an addition rather than a deduction! selected And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but brin them up in the trainin and admonition of the Lord. Apostle Paul The D.B.A. approved desinatin Auust 22, 2004 as G.L.A.D. Sunday across our district. We are askin for each pastor to promote the G.L.A.D. proram on this Lord s Day. God is helpin us, but we still have a ways to o to reach our oal of havin 300 G.L.A.D. members. Brochures will be sent to each church so they can be inserted into your weekly bulletins or distributed to the people as they enter the church. Thanks to each individual and or church that has joined the proram. We currently have 54 members that have joined ($64,800.00 pleded) and over $20,000.00 that has already been sent in to pay on the debt. Remember every penny pleded is sent directly to pay the debt. We don t even keep money from the fund to buy postae stamps. It is a worthy cause why don t you join today? Donna and I are very excited about the G.L.A.D. Proram. This plan to liquidate district operational debt and also pay off the land acquisition in just five years is very achievable. We stronly encourae the churches and individuals of Indiana South to join toether in this endeavor. God will bless our efforts. Dr. Roer Dillman G.L.A.D. Everett Freels All across this reat district are people that are impactin the world for Christ. One such person is Pastor Everett Freels and the Evansville Trinity Church. Read below and see how they are chanin their world in a positive way. This last church year they touched hundreds of people throuh their food ministry outreach. Not only do they feed the people they have started havin a mini-worship service when the people World Chaners come to receive the free food. The numbers below speak for themselves. A special thank you to Ms. Barbara Todd and the 10 other volunteers that help make this proram possible. Families Fed 2,765 Total People Fed 6, 520 Days Food Pantry Open 155 Hours Open 278 Visitors attendin mini-worship 1,001 People Saved from this ministry 29 Pastor Freels has also started another creative ministry called, Churches Embracin Offenders (C.E.O.). This is a wonderful proram he started to minister to those who have been in trouble with the law. Pastor Freels has arraned it so that if someone is arrested they can at times enroll in this proram instead of oin to prison or jail. One of the requirements of the C.E.O. proram is for the offender to attend at least 26 Bible Study lessons. The judes in the Evansville area are really enthused about this proram because of the positive impact it is havin with those arrested. There are also now 80 churches involved in this ministry throuhout the city and many offenders have otten saved in the C.E.O. proram. I can t help but to think of the words of Jesus when he said, Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me. Rev. Freels you and the Evansville Trinity Church really are World Chaners! Keep up the ood work. Mitchell Wesleyan Church Conratulations to: Dr. Matthew E.
