There are four outside lines with conference calling, call hold & transfer, & intercom between all extensions. In emergency situations, any teacher can make an all-call, as can the office. The system was donated by an anonymous benefactor, so we are deeply appreciative to this person, as well as to James & Jane! Adult confirmation For all baptized Catholics of our Diocese who have not been Confirmed, Bishop Choby has scheduled an Adult Confirmation on Wednesday evening May 18, 2011, 7:00 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Incarnation.. Coming soon! Third Year of WhyCatholic! The Fall sessions will begin on October 3, 2010; the Spring sessions will begin on March 6, 2011. We have several groups which hope to accommodate everyone s schedule, so all are welcome: parishioners, RCIA candidates, non- Catholics, old & new group members. This year s topic will be the moral life, with emphasis on the Beatitudes & the Ten Commandments. Address questions to members of the committee: Scott Benefield, Rosemary Harris, Terry McMahan, Carol Rohling, or Thalia Young. Everyone is invited! Sign up sheets are on the back table so we can order books! Parish Council Meeting There will be a meeting of the Parish Council on Wednesday, September 22nd at 7 pm in the school. All council members are expected to attend. Round Up for Our School Every penny helps! If you have a bill of $50.52, for example, the bill would become $51.00. True, the school would receive only $.48 of your money, but if we all did this, quite a bit of money would be generated on a monthly & yearly basis. You might also elect to Round Up a bit more, by an amount of your choosing. Check with the school for a form which can be returned to school or mailed with your bill. Our Nursery The nursery will be staffed today (09/19) by Maria & Alex Bolin. The staff on 9/26 will be Jayme & Melissa Niedergeses. Catechetical Sunday On September 19th, we observe Catechetical Sunday. This is the day we remember & pray for all teachers of religion.
