CYCLES In many countries, especially in the developing world, pastors and development workers find it difficult to carry out ministry duties due to a lack of transportation. Often they must walk miles a day. A simple bicycle, moped or motor cycle is an incredible gift, enabling them to visit remote communities and provide much needed encouragement. Canadian Baptist Ministries, our national organization, is working to provide cycles in these situations. If you choose this as your project, you are committing to give an amount of your choice beyond regular offering which our church will forward to CBM for this project. Please make cheques out to First Baptist $ Is what I plan to give for Cycles GOING GREEN The Bible teaches that human beings are responsible to care for this planet. it belongs to God, and God will hold us to account for how we care for His world. If you chose this project you commit to walking or taking public transportation to work/school at least one time per week (over and beyond what you may do now). In this way you will be helping to reduce pollution and carbon emissions widely believed to be the cause of global warming. MY NAME MY TELEPHONE NUMBER 6
