A) In the 1600s, there was a great debate about the nature and role of GOD and, subsequently, what that meant for HUMAN NATURE and our ability to know TRUTH (epistemology). Discuss the DIFFERENCES (and reasons for those differences) in the basic philosophical outlook of BLAISE PASCAL, the FRENCH PHILOSOPHES, and the SCOTTISH ENLIGHTENMENT. It would be expected that you quote Pascal and at least one other thinker, using appropriate documents from the Quest or Sources. Over for two more choices.
