PACT Area Eight teams have taken trips to new locations in an effort to expand God s kingdom to all nations. Pray for God s wisdom for the new PACT Area Student-Led Movements and Global Church Movements leaders as they embark on their new positions. Pray for great empowerment of all team leaders, both men and women, in PACT. Pray that all PACT staff would be at 100% support by 2020. Country 1 Praise Lord for the Magdalena training our leaders did with some of their disciples. The training went well and we thank God for His protection during this time. Ask God to give His laborers greater access. Pray for new platforms, healthy staff children, and solutions to other issues preventing our ministry from moving forward. Pray for peace in the country. There has been conflict between government leaders. The situation is very tense. As we minister to a third, fourth, and fifth generation of disciples, ask God to grow them in their faith. Country 2 By God s grace, we have been able to launch a ministry to students. Pray we would successfully carry out our strategic plan. Ask God to bless the newly launched student ministry. Pray for peace within this country and among its neighbors.
Country 3 This week, we re wrapping up an MPD training - the first of its kind in our country. Praise God for our staff, interns, volunteers, and the opportunity to meet with local partners. Global Church Movements: Pray for R and R s new church to establish deep roots and grow in number and faithfulness to Jesus. Pray for our staff as we develop our new strategy to see a healthy and multiplying church in every village. Ask God to raise up elders to lead these churches. Pray for the spiritual growth and boldness of our student volunteers. A team recently visited us from the US. Ask God to empower us to follow up well with the people we met through them. Country 4 Our staff serving Country 4 (which is extremely restricted) are living in a neighboring country. Praise God, they ve been able to begin ministering to nearby university students who are originally from Country 4. May God protect the house churches and disciples we serve at a distance. May they grow up in His powerful Word. As we move forward with campus ministry, may God give us wisdom and help us meet students who are ready. May God protect the five nearby churches we serve and let the leaders be strong in grace. Country 5 Several teams have been able to take ministry trips from this country to neighboring countries this year, in order to aid the ministry efforts of their brothers and sisters in those countries.
Pray for an upcoming prayer conference April 26-30. A team is traveling to help put on the conference, but the hosting facility s leader has rescinded his invitation. Pray that God would move in the heart of that leader and draw people to the prayer conference. Pray that the administration at two universities would allow us to hold trainings on campus. The president of this country announced he is stepping down after many years. Pray for provision of a wise new leader a peaceful transition of power. Country 6 Many students have become Christ-followers in this country this year! Pray that all staff, interns and STINTers would abide in Him, bear much fruit, and rejoice in ministry. Pray that all our campus ministry disciples would use their faith to share and disciple others after their conference. Pray for their outreaches in several cities. We have a ministry to teachers. Ask God to open up new schools where we could have more opportunities to share the gospel and make disciples. Country 7 The Global Church Movements team is launching ministry in a new region. Pray for the printing of Josh McDowell books and recording of Digital Strategies materials onto MP3. We'll be giving these out for Easter. A campus team from Country 5 partnered with our campus team to put on outreaches April 16-21. Ask God to continue working in the hearts of the students we shared with. P ray for the growth of churches in our nation. Country 8
Praise God, we were able to purchase a building to use as a ministry center! This gives us a great deal more freedom in our work. Today, April 23, is a major outreach day in one city. Pray for boldness, clarity, love, and endurance as many laborers engage non-believers in gospel conversations. Ask God to bring many into His kingdom today. As we raise the remaining funds to pay off our new building, ask God to touch many hearts and move them to generosity. Pray that God would provide the current renters with new homes/offices and allow us to begin moving in. Ask God to show us the right contractors to work with as we renovate. Ask God to grow the newly formed LeaderImpact team together in unity and love. Pray for discernment and strength as they consider different opportunities to meet people. Country 9 Praise God for miraculous provision of visas for one worker to return on two short-term trips into this country to encourage the brothers and sisters. We need a breakthrough in getting God s word into people s hands - this country is incredibly restrictive. Ask for training possibilities for nationals. Ask for laborers. There is only one couple still serving here. Pray that local industries would provide pathways for workers to enter and stay in the country. Country 10 By your prayers, we had a great outreach in a home for disabled people. 100 people heard the gospel, praise the Lord! Ask God to protect our brothers and sisters visiting the country this month. Pray also that we would be able to worship Jesus freely. Pray for new multiplying disciples, multiplying groups, and spiritual awakening in every region of our country.
Pray for future evangelism and training opportunities in the home for disabled people.
