Isaiah 12. 1-6 (CEB) You will say on that day: I thank you, Lord. Though you were angry with me, your anger turned away and you comforted me. 2 God is indeed my salvation; I will trust and won t be afraid. Yah, the Lord, is my strength and my shield; he has become my salvation. 3 You will draw water with joy from the springs of salvation. 4 And you will say on that day: Thank the Lord; call on God s name; proclaim God s deeds among the peoples; declare that God s name is exalted. 5 Sing to the Lord, who has done glorious things; proclaim this throughout all the earth. 6 Shout and sing for joy, city of Zion, because the holy one of Israel is great among you. Regifting Christmas- The Gift of Love sermon notes: Troy First Challenges for December: Embrace the practice of reading scripture Adopt the Advent tradition of engaging the story Find time to be free of distractions to be alone with God Get involved in a ministry at the church try something new

Caroling Thank You s Thank you for the caroling, poinsettia plant and for my church family. Maxine Bechtol A special thank you to the group of carolers who gave of their time and talents to sing Christmas songs and deliver the beautiful poinsettia plant to my mother, Mrs. Campbell, at Koester Pavilion. It meant a lot to us for her to be remembered. In Christian love, Janie & Ron Fullerton We want to thank the carolers, we enjoyed their efforts and also a thank you for the poinsettia plant that Judy & Dewaine Roush delivered. Happy Holidays from Joel & Nancy Walker. I would like to thank the Pinkertons, Holmes, Schumanns, Michelle and Kendra Kovacs, Amy, Allyssa & Andrew Knapinski for caroling to our Special Folks last Sunday. We caroled to 35 very Special Folks. It was quite a few people to cover by so few a carolers. We could see the joy on their faces as we sang and often they would sing along with us. This is such an important mission for this church to keep our Special Folks forefront in our thoughts and deeds. Please put next year s date on your calendar now, Dec. 8 th, 2019. It is a lot of fun with pizza afterward. My love to all of you Donna Elleman I want to thank you very much for the poinsettia and I really enjoyed the singing of the group that came. Sincerely Marry Ellen Keller
