- Mitzvah Goreret Mitzvah One Mitzvah Leads to Another Mitzvah MITZVAH DAY COMING TOGETHER AS A COMMUNITY 2016 SUNDAY, MAY 15, 2016 7 Iyar 5776 Join us for our 4 th Community-Wide Mitzvah Day and make a difference We will come together as a Jewish community to work jointly on numerous mitzvah projects benefitting a wide range of local and worldwide recipients. Many of this year s projects connect our community to the people of Israel by supporting Israeli communities and institutions. We will end the day at North Hempstead Beach Park celebrating Israel s independence and culture at Israelfest. Mitzvah Day brings us all together: a chance to be with family, to meet new friends and to brighten the day of someone in need. Bring friends and encourage your children to do the same.
