Dave and Kellie, we are so sorry to hear about Aaron. It was over 10 years ago when Dave, Aaron and Austin "dropped by" our home before leaving New Brunswick for Texas. It seems in some ways like only yesterday. Our thoughts and Prayers are with you all at this time. GLEN & DEBORAH HICKS, SEPTEMBER 17, 2007 Our continued thoughts & prayers are with the Schriver & Lauderdale families. For those who were unable to attend the funeral on Saturday, I wanted to post a beautiful poem which was read by Aaron's aunt, Ms. Kim Lauderdale: When I Am Gone When I am gone, remember I m with Jesus. Then do not mourn because I m passed away. Life holds so many grief s and disappointments, And will you cry because I did not stay? Tis only for a spell we must be parted, Not many years on earth to us are given. And when my Saviour tells me your are coming I ll go with Him and welcome you to heaven. Grieve not because the eyes that looked upon you, Shall never see your face on earth again. Rejoice, because they look upon the Saviour Who gave His life to ransom sinful men. Weep not because I walk no longer with you, Remember I am walking streets of gold. Weep for yourselves that you awhile must tarry Before the blessed Lord you may behold. RONNIE MALLOW, SEPTEMBER 17, 2007 Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Susie and Lee Waddell SUSIE WADDELL, SEPTEMBER 13, 2007 Dave, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. BOB ITA, SEPTEMBER 13, 2007 Dave, Kellie, and Austin: We are so happy we had the chance to know Aaron and to watch him grow up into a loving and honorable young man. He was a tremendous positive influence and inspiration for Eliot. Aaron was a credit to your family and you were a credit to him; your love for each other as a family, your pride in his accomplishments, and your steadfast support as he grew into manhood were evident in every encounter we had with him. I know that you will miss him every day, but I hope you can take some comfort in the fact that he lives on in all of our hearts. In you, we will always see him. THE BUSH FAMILY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2007 Aaron will be missed tremendously. He was a great mentor to our youth hockey players, an example of a man committed to serve his country, and a proud example of a child well raised by loving parents. God called him home
early in life and for that we will all miss him deeply, but we know that greater plans for Aaron lie within Gods plan for him. Kellie, Dave & Austin, my prayers are with you to gain understanding, to heal and to be able celebrate the life you gave this great young man. Look for answers in your faith, as tough as that may be, for within your faith lies the thousands of answers you seek. I will miss you Aaron. Mark Layton & Family MARK LAYTON, SEPTEMBER 13, 2007 Unfortunately, I only met Aaron once. It was in 1992 at his Dad's and my high school reunion in New Brunswick, however I feel like I experienced his growing up through Dave's e-mails and cards which we received each Christmas without fail. Each was brimming with pride for his boys. Aaron's(and later Austin's)achievements academically, atheletically and more recently with respect to Aaron's joining the USMC, were always front and center and of the greatest importance. My heart is broken for Dave, Kellie, Austin and the extended family. May God give you the strength to face each new day and treasure the memories that you hold dear. Kevin, Marianne, Hilary and DAVID KEVIN M HAGERMAN, SEPTEMBER 12, 2007 My son, Carl Rainer, served in the same unit as Aaron. They attended OCS together and planned to attend flight school after receiving their commissions. Carl was very good friends with Aaron and spoke of him often to our family. They always enjoyed their time together during drill weekends. Aaron encouraged Carl to attend OCS. I know my son will miss him terribly. Carl told me earlier this week that he knew Aaron would be with him in spirit during OCS next summmer. The Rainer Family will pray for all of you. MYRNA RAINER, SEPTEMBER 12, 2007 Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your fine young son, Arron MYRA & ROBERT MACNEIL, SEPTEMBER 12, 2007 Dear Schriver Family, Words cannot express the deep sorrow that we feel for your family at this time. We hope and pray that you will find some solice in knowing that Aaron is in G-ds house and that his spirit will live on forever through you all. Our love and prayers are with you. The Schindler's
RICHARD, LAURA & BEN SCHINDLER, SEPTEMBER 12, 2007 Kelly,Dave and Austin: Words cannot describe how sorrowful we are for your loss. Our hearts go out to you all at this time. I will always appreciate Aarons kindness and words of encouragment he gave Reese while Reese was on Dave's Aces team. Aarons enthusiasm and beautiful smile will be greatly missed by all of us. While there is no explanation why these things happen to good people, may we all find some comfort in the craziness of all of this that someday we will be united with our loved ones that have passed on before us. I know that God has a plan for us all, it's just hard to figure out why things happen like they do sometimes. I pray that this time in your life passes swiftly and only the good memories remain. Very truly yours, Cherie Layton CHERIE LAYTON, SEPTEMBER 12, 2007 My thoughts and Prayers are with you and your family during this tragic time.
