The same blood that makes Him our brother and us His children (Hebrews 9:12) also makes those around us into treasures and privileges. In protecting and providing for the least of these uncertain parents, unresponsive patients, unborn embryos the Kingdom Himself will never be far from us. Incarnate God, draw us into Your humility that our race be raised up. Amen. MITEY MUFFIN WEEKEND On November 3 rd - 4 th, YOU can help people find rest in a changing world. Many have not heard about our Lord and Savior. The mites collected this weekend will help fund our LWML mission grants to help these people hear the Good News or help people who are furthering their work in the ministry. If you have a few coins to put in the Mite box, we greatly appreciate you furthering God s work. Either way, please enjoy a Mitey Muffin after the service. WE NEED YOUR HELP! Mission weekend is Nov. 17-18. Our guest speaker will be Rev. John Suguitan from Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. We are taking a collection for the homeless who are a significant part of this ministry. We will be collecting hats and gloves for men and women to be given to the homeless to help keep them warm. With angels, archangels, and with all the company of heaven When we gather around the altar of the Lord in His House we pray and praise God with all the company of heaven. Those we have lost in the Lord are not truly lost to us they have simply entered their rest with the Lord. As we gather to worship our Lord, we gather along with them. On the Last Day everything that God has given into the care of our stewardship will fade away everything except our brothers and sisters in Christ. Caring for one another in love and grace is our highest calling. Witness: As we approach the end of the church year, our thoughts turn to last things. One day Christ will come again and take His precious saints to be with Him forever. In the meantime, we, as bold Christians, gladly share the hope that is within us even when things in this world go bad.
