LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL My Service Activities Frostburg (8923) Frostburg Lions: District 22 W - Feed the Hungry Project September 1, 2015 aid to disadvantaged families Provide administrative support to the Frostburg Food Pantry, and collect food on a regular and ongoing basis. Relieving the Hunger campaign Number of Lions: 33 Number of Lion Hours: 25 Number of People Served: 200 Funds Frostburg Lions: District 22 W - Feed the Hungry Project - Summer Lunch Box Program September 18, 2015 aid to disadvantaged families Provide administrative support for the program. Provide fund raising support for appeal drive in January. Develop mailing, provide materials and otherwise ready the appeals for mailing. Relieving the Hunger campaign Number of Lions: 6 Number of Lion Hours: 10 Number of People Served: 200 Funds Village Lions Branch Club - Daily Activity September 1, 2015 aid to the elderly Village Lions Branch Club - provides a positive image for seniors and staff at Frostburg Village, members socialize and visit with patients and staff on a regular basis through the month. Number of Lions: 9 Number of Lion Hours: 100 Number of People Served: 120 Funds Frostburg Lions: Provide Transportation September 1, 2015 aid to the elderly Page 1 of 6

Throughout the month, provide transportation to seniors and others for doctors appointment, shopping and etc. Through Neighbor Helping Neighbor provide community wide transportation assistance and leadership. Number of Lions: 5 Number of Lion Hours: 20 Number of People Served: 20 Funds Frostburg Lions: Box Tops For Education September 1, 2015 assistance to school Continue this alternative fund raising effort to provide funds for two local elementary schools. Our goal is 5,000 box tops - currently we have 300. Engaging our Youth campaign Number of Lions: 33 Number of Lion Hours: 2 Number of People Served: 200 Funds Donated: Frostbuurg Lions: Eyeglasses Recycling September 9, 2015 eyeglass recycling Clubs collect used eyeglasses for sorting and distribution to areas where the population does not have access to affordable eye care. So far this month, 21 pairs of glasses have been collected Number of Lions: 3 Number of Lion Hours: 2 Number of Eyeglasses Collected: 21 Funds Frostburg Lions: Donation Cans September 1, 2015 Fundraising Event / Campaign Continue with donation cans around town. 10 cans are placed and providing income. More cans ordered. $43 collected so far Number of Lions: 1 Number of Lion Hours: 4 Funds Raised: 43 Village Lions - Support for LVRF Golf Tournament September 18, 2015 lions eye health program / sight awareness / education Page 2 of 6

Village Lions packed goodie bags for the upcoming LVRF Golf Tournament to be held at Maplehurst. Variety of vision related brochures - emergency ALRT and educational materials provided to patrons. Number of Lions: 6 Number of Lion Hours: 30 Number of People Served: 200 Funds Village Lions Regular Meeting W/District Governor September 14, 2015 meetings / club visitations District Governor visit with Village Lions on Monday, Sept. 14. We were please to meet and hear from the D.G. Usual meeting activities conducted as well. Number of Lions: 15 Number of Lion Hours: 15 Frostburg Lions: 1st September Regular Club Meeting September 9, 2015 meetings / club visitations The Sept. 9 regular meeting of the Frostburg Lions Club was held. Numerous topics of discussion ensured. We voted to support Lion Liz Neat in her walk for A.F.S.P. Several items of business were tables. Conducted our 2nd regular club meeting of the Month. Conducted normal business and made final plans for Charter Night. We covered a wide range of topics. The site is a community asset. We have a regular website and an eclubhouse site. Periodic updates provided for. Number of Lions: 3 Number of Lion Hours: 4 Village Lions / Frostburg Lions Frisby's For Dog Park September 26, 2015 other community & cultural activity Donated Frisby's to the Frostburg Dog Park for pets to have free of charge Number of Lions: 32 Number of Lion Hours: 1 Number of People Served: 100 Funds Donated: Frostburg Lions: A.F.S.P. Walk Support September 9, 2015 other health & wellness sponsored one member who participated in the A.F.S.P. fund raising walk in Hagerstown, Md. Page 4 of 6

In addition to be a recycling program, this is also a fund raiser for our club. Protecting our Environment campaign Number of Lions: 6 Number of Lion Hours: 6 Number of People Served: 100 Funds Donated: Frostburg Lions: Recycle: Cardboard September 5, 2015 recycling As an off shoot of our cartridge recycling program we are able to recycle substantial amounts of cardboard from toners and ink cartridges. this month we estimate nearly 50 lbs of cardboard will be recycled. Protecting our Environment campaign Number of Lions: 6 Number of Lion Hours: 6 Number of People Served: 100 Funds Donated: Frostburg Lions: Recycling: Prescription Medicine Bottles September 9, 2015 recycling After reading an article in the District Newsletter, we adopted recycling used prescription bottles as a project. Bottles will be shipped to be reused in an under-developed African nation - Malawi. this will be an ongoing recycling program for our club. District 22W Lions Clubs provide for eye exams and eye glasses for individuals who do not have any other financial means to get needed eye care. So far in Sept. we have provided one pair of new glasses.
