Prayers of the People Rejoicing in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we pray for the witness of the church, the wholeness of creation, and all who are in need. Holy God, your voice calls us to worship. Where discord bellows with the church, unite us in harmony. Where we lack direction, guide us in singing your song with our unique voices. Hear us, O God. Your mercy is great. Creative Lord, your melodies formed the earth and all that is in it. Receive the roar of the sea and thy rhythmic clap of the rivers. Rejoice as the hills ring out in praise. SOUPIE SUNDAY On Sunday May 6 (after service) the Social Justice Committee is hosting a SOUPIE SUNDAY luncheon. For $5.00 you can get a bowl of soup, a bun, a cookie and a beverage. The soups and cookies will all be made in the kitchens of some of the best chefs around. Please come out for some great food and fellowship. All the proceeds will go to assist members of our church family as needed. COMMUNITY GARDEN If you are interested in planting a community garden here at church, please talk to anyone on the Social Justice Committee. The cost is $30.00 for the year.
