This includes federal employees and contractors not receiving a paycheck due to the shutdown, though some have been ordered to work. These individuals are experiencing anxiety about their financial and employment future, and are having to make hard decisions about how to pay the rent and utilities, and provide food and medical care for their families. Network of Community Ministries and North Dallas Shared Ministries are two local organizations providing assistance for people in need, including food, rent, utilities and/or clothing. If you wish to offer additional funds for these ministries, please use an envelope found in the pew. Checks should be made out to King of Glory with Faithful Ones in the memo.
