Summer Stewardship Remember the Lord, for it is He who gives - Deuteronomy 8:18 Summer is a time when families gather, reminisce, and share a special meal at a family gathering or reunion. We can hear grace before meals being recited as families share those special moments. We pray for those who are unable to be with us or for those who have passed on into God s hands. Our parish community back home is also part of our faith family. When we prepare for our summer travel, typically, we work up a To Do List to steward the process of getting away that may include taking care of the following: Mail, Newspapers, Home, Lawn, Security, Prescriptions, House Sitting, Baby Sitting, Maintenance, Neighbors, Bills and Bill paying. But what about our spiritual stewardship as summer approaches? Our stewardship contributions of treasure throughout the year support this parish financially. Your gifts enable our parish to carry out its Gospel-based mission by providing worship, education, the sacraments, service to the poor and needy, and countless blessing to those in need. Next weekend, June 9th and 10th we ask that you put your donation into the second collection basket for funds you wish to donate to the Building Improvement Fund.
