We thank B&T Weldon and M&T Schreur for serving us today!

Welcome to Bethel Church! This is the day the Lord has made and we have gathered together to rejoice in it. Whether you are filled with sorrow or with joy - or a mixture of the two - we can rejoice in the Lord together when we remember what He has done for us. IN MEMORY OF HAIJO - The flowers at the front of church today are in memory of Haijo Kiel. As a charter member of our congregation, he brought much joy to many. He also displayed love and faithfulness in beautiful ways. Thank you to all who helped make his funeral a beautiful tribute and a great time together. Your care for Hermina and family in this time is a wonderful tribute to who we are as the Body of Christ. CHILDREN AT THE TABLE - There will be a 30-45 minute "class" after worship today for any child who would like to take communion but is not ready to make the full step of membership in the church. We'll meet in the Great Room (next to the bathrooms). TOMORROW is the anniversary of Amy Terborg's tragic death. Her young life was taken away far too soon and she continues to be dearly missed. Please continue to hold Phil and Sue (and family) in your prayers. THANK YOU to everyone who came to hear about North Korea and the challenges that their citizens face on a daily basis. There is a group getting together to raise money to sponsor a refugee from North Korea. If you would like to help, please talk to Pastor Cal after the service or leave a note in his mailbox (as he'll be teaching a class directly after our service today). OUR ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING will be held on Monday, June 17 at 7:00pm. Mark it on your calendars so that you can join us as we select new leaders for the coming year and so that we can approve the budget. If you haven't gotten your pledge sheets to the Deacons yet, please do so by the end of the week. SECOND OFFERING NEXT SUNDAY COMMUNITY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL PARTNERS IN EDUCATION - CCS offers Christian education to Gr. 4 8 th grade students in Pease, MN. The Partners in Education Program was established to give CCS friends, family & alumni and opportunity to give financial gifts to those families who desire Christian education, but have fallen on times of financial need. We believe that the triangle of church, home & school is what strengthens us and makes us strong. COFFEE BREAK END-OF-THE YEAR EVENT! Grow in Grace, Tuesday, May 7 at 9:30am Join us for brunch and free childcare! We would love to have you and a friend join us for brunch as we close out our year together and take a peek into our 2013/2014 year. Many of you have been instrumental in assisting us this year through your prayers and help on Tuesday mornings and we want to say, THANK YOU! Come and join us! If you have any questions, please contact Bonnie in the office, 763.389.5715.

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER - Your Bethel Council has decided to observe the National Day of Prayer on May 2 nd in a new way this year. Rather than holding a prayer day service we would like to cover as much of the day as possible in prayer by members and friends of Bethel. If you are willing to spend 15, 30, 45 or more minutes in prayer at some point in the day we can truly observe a DAY of prayer. Your time in prayer can be spent in praying for our national, state or local leaders, our service men and women, spiritual leaders and more. Just sign up for a time slot listed on the sign-up sheet in the Gathering Place. Let's see just how much of the day we can cover in prayer. MEET AT THE FLAG POLE - Thursday, May 2 is the National Day of Prayer. All are invited to attend a Prayer Service at 12 Noon at the Flag Pole near the Police Station in Princeton. This event is sponsored by the Greater Princeton Area Ministerial Association with these churches participating: Bethel Church, Christ Our Light Catholic Parish, Circle J Ministries, Cross of Life Community Church, First Congregational Church UCC, Freshwaters UMC, Immanuel Lutheran Church, Princeton Evangelical Free Church, Neighbors to Nations, New Life Church and Trinity Lutheran.
