The Wesley Connector JANUARY 16, 2019 2018 is over and 2019 has sped in fast and hasn t slowed down! I have a few different items to share this week. We had over 90 people take time to participate in the survey for our Preliminary Case statement last month for the upcoming Debt Reduction Campaign. Thank You all for investing in our church s future by giving thoughtful and insightful information. The Wesley Administrative Board will be reviewing the survey this week and I am sure will find it equally helpful. My first glance showed that 93% of you are satisfied or very satisfied with the direction of the church. You shared encouragement for leaders to continue decision making which will help people connect to Jesus Christ at Wesleysummed up in one word: GROWTH. An example of suggested improvements is to help people stay better informed of the financial status and health of the church. People clearly want debt reduction with a few capital improvements made from the proceeds of this debt reduction campaign. Look for more feedback in the future. Please be in prayer for God to guide and provide. I mainly want to say Thank You for taking the time and know we are listening. The Yost Post A huge Thank You to everyone who made Christmas amazing this year! Glory to God in the Highest indeed. The Choir s Cantata and singing Christmas Eve proclaimed Christ, the Wesley Vibes (handbell choir) created memories which will last a lifetime and the outstanding Ushers and Greeters who went above and beyond to be gracious and generous hosts. Our weekly attendance for the 23 rd and 24 th was 951! Wow! I cannot say enough about our outreach this Advent. The Christmas Market and family movie night was amazing. Our staff and volunteers created a place and space for people with and without a church home to experience God s Grace this year. What an honor to serve with you! One final note, please continue to pray for Jordan, Sharon, and Leah Cramer as they say goodbye to their current church home and prepare to become a part of the Wesley Church family.

Special thanks to all who volunteered to help during the shopping days. 2018 was a special year, as the collection reached $4,800. Each child was allowed $60 to shop with. With Wesley s great support, 80 children received the shopping allowance. What a joy it was to see their smiling faces as they shopped for their new clothes. Clothe-A-Child continues to be a mission worthy of our attention year round. Your support is greatly appreciated. Wesley Mission Committee
