1 Bahamas 2006 program April 22 29, 2006 Welcome to the annual Robert Brown & Friends Spiritual retreat and workshops! This very special week has become one of the highlights of the international metaphysical calendar, annually welcoming new and old friends, one of our proudest claims is that people can arrive at the week, with companions or by themselves, by the end of the week, you will leave with many new friends and have the opportunity to discuss, work and share with all participants and facilitators in an informal, relaxed, totally accessible, friendly environment. We are delighted to once again return to the fabulous Islands of the Bahamas, Xanadu, in Freeport Grand Bahamas, has welcomed us for a number of years now and each year we have been able to improve and enhance the program on offer, we are confident that you will agree that for 2006 we have one of our most adventurous program ever! The much welcomed small groups classes will once again be on offer, this means that all participants get to enjoy the same amount of time with all of our facilitators the 5 facilitators will give the same class each morning and the participants will rotate to each of them. Some of the most experienced teachers, mediums and lecturers make themselves available for this special week and this is your opportunity to discuss, share, learn and meet our friends from around the World. For 2006 we are delighted to welcome back yoga teacher extraordinaire, Linda Cucurullo, whether you are a complete beginner, an adept or just someone who would like to watch, Linda has moves for you! We are honored this year to have Matthais & Eva Guldenstein from Basle, Switzerland, mediums and teachers of many years experience. International medium Peter Close, will, once again be journeying from Thailand to join us. The founders of the Forever Family Foundation, Bob & Phran Ginsberg, a foundation that brings mediums and Science together will also join us. With the help of the foundation we have secured the services of Prof Gary Schwartz who will be talking to us about his findings having worked with some of the Worlds most distinguished mediums in recent years. Prof Schwartz will also give us a glimpse of what other experiments he plans using new mediums. As well as our morning classes, we will have our afternoon lectures and workshops we will also hold our evening demonstrations of mediumship. A special day is planned mid-week where some participants from previous retreats will show their progress in their work. There will, of course be time for relaxation, shopping and free time, a very special Friday night finale is also planned! 2 The Facilitators: Classes are held each morning as listed in the program, from 10 am 12 noon our facilitators this year are: Robert Brown whose class will be The Power Within how we can use the abilities we have to help ourselves and others, Robert will also demonstrate in this class how he uses his clairvoyant gift to assist him in healing others. The power within us can be enhanced and developed with exercises unique to this class. Robert Brown is an Internationally recognized medium he travels and teaches around the World extensively. RobertBrownmedium.com John Carol: Mediumship through Clairsentience John will show how developing the senses can make us even more aware of spirit communication, how to recognize signs and how to fine tune our innate abilities will be part of Johns class. John Carol lives in Brighton, a seaside town in England. He has worked in America, Germany Sweden, a dedicated worker for spirit for over 25 years. Hollister Rand: Balancing Between Two Worlds. Experiencing the power of the Chakras. Hollister, or Holli, as I am sure you will come to know her, is one of the most exciting mediums and teachers around today. The preparation and work she puts into her classes, display the professional and ethical approach she has to her work. Holli originally comes from New York, but now lives and works in California with her clowder of cats! Ann Burbedge: With Spirit s Help.! Ann will be taking us through some of the exercises, meditations and techniques that have made Ann a much sought after teacher of mediumistic abilities at all its different levels. Ann s no nonsense approach will give clear insight as to what can and should not be expected from mediums. Her many years experience has seen Ann, demonstrate throughout the United Kingdom at our many Spiritualist Churches, she has lectured in Sweden, Germany, Austria, this will be Ann s third trip with us to the Bahamas, welcome back! A native Londoner where Ann still lives and practices her gifts.. Ellie Fristensky: Know Yourself. Ellie, will teach us how to recognize and accept the wisdom of Spirit, using meditations and her own developed exercises, Mama Ellie will show us how to understand life s lessons and to begin the healing process. From our first visits to Bahamas, where Ellie acquired the name of Mama Ellie has been there for everyone, for many years a teacher and enhancer, Ellie co-founded the L.O.V.E foundation of Huntington Long Island, she has organized trips and visits to many spiritual places. Ellie lives in Mississippi with her beloved husband, Willie and her adored pooch Gracie. In 2005 Ellie published her first book, congratulations! As Ellie has said herself, with tongue in cheek, Not bad for an ol broad from New York!
The Lecturer s and Demonstrators: 3 Linda Cucurullo : Linda has for over 25 years been at the forefront of the movement in helping people to help themselves. A yoga teacher for all levels of that discipline, it is a truthful testament that our dear Pam is able to be with us at each retreat, due to the teachings and guidance of Ms. Cucurullo. Each morning of the retreat Linda leads a group of those wishing to join her on the beach, in a gentle but invigorating early morning session of yoga. Linda will also lead us in a special yoga for recovery workshop during the week. A resident of Long Island, Linda has her own established Yoga center and also runs empowering workshops and retreats. Matthais & Eva Guldentstein : Welcome to dear friends from Basle, Switzerland, for a number of years Matthais and Eva have invited Robert to their home and to the exceptional group that they have run for many years now. Both are mediums, Matthais will demonstrate psychic art, he will draw the people he perceives from the Spirit World, Eva working simultaneously with Matthais will deliver messages from Spirit. They have run a mediums training course that takes two years to complete, for the past 17 years, their work throughout Switzerland helps many people and forever strives to uphold and advance the development of mediums. Eva is a professional translator and Matthais a retired schoolteacher. They have traveled extensively, especially to Africa and Bali. The Psi-group to which they belong and help organize has over 2500 members throughout Germany and Switzerland. Peter Close : International Medium Peter Close, known to many throughout the United States makes a welcome return to our Bahamas retreat. Peter, known to the British press as The Psychic Bobby because for 32 years he was a Policeman in London, a job that had him questioning his own gifts, needs little introduction. A first rate Medium and Healer, Peter was one of the first people over 30 years ago, to recognize the potential for mediumistic abilities in the then young, Robert Brown. Peter ran his own home circle for many years as well as traveling extensively. He was one of the first truly International mediums, in that he has physically journeyed and demonstrated his gifts around the World. Peter will be joining us from his home in Thailand as with the other mediums and facilitators above, Peter will be available for private appointments. Gary Schwartz Ph.D: We welcome honored guest lecturer Professor Gary Schwartz. Professor of Psychology, Surgery, Medicine,Nneurology & Psychiatry. Director, Center for Frontier Medicine in BiofieldCscience. Director, Human Energy Systems Laboratory. University of Arizona. Prof Schwartz has had the cooperation of some of the worlds most distinguished mediums, his studies with and of mediums at close quarters has led to some of the most remarkable studies of mediums and their abilities in recent times. He has published his findings and will also be sharing with us what form his future research will take. A rare opportunity to hear a respected scientist share his observations and comments, Prof Schwartz approaches this subject with consideration, respect and humor, he also promises not to wear shorts or loud flower print shirts! Forever Family Foundation, Founders Bob & Phran Ginsberg will join Prof Schwartz to explain the aims and objectives of the foundation.
4 Saturday 22 nd April Check-in is from 3pm, any earlier is at the discretion of the hotel, however, if you do arrive early there are facilities for your bags to be stored until check-in. 4:30 6pm Meet & Greet reception with refreshments and an opportunity to hear from each of the facilitators. 6pm Dinner. We have arranged that all our meals are prepared and served buffet style exclusively for our group. 7:30 9pm. Demonstration of Spirit communication with Ann Burbedge & Robert Brown, the mediums will give as many messages from spirit as time allows. Sunday 23 rd There will be tea & coffee breaks throughout the day. 7:30 8:30 Yoga with Linda, on the beach unless otherwise directed. 10am 12pm. Classes, You will find in the hotel foyer which group you have been assigned to, we ask that you keep to your group so that you experience every facilitator during the week. We only have the small groups for the mornings, in the afternoons and evenings we all join together as one group. 12:30 2pm Lunch 2:30 4:pm Lecture: Prof Gary Schwartz. Prof. Schwartz has been working closely with some of the most fascinating mediums around today, he will explain his attempts to gather data, discuss the experiments he has conducted and reveal his observations and conclusions on mediums and spirit communication. He is the author of a number of books on his findings and will welcome a question and answer session during this lecture. At 4pm Prof Schwartz will be joined by Bob & Phran Ginsberg, founders of the Forever Family Foundation, who will explain the aims and objectives of the foundation. 6pm Dinner in our own dinning room, reserved for our group. 7:30 9pm. Demonstration of Spirit communication with Hollister Rand and John Carol random messages to the group from our loved ones in Spirit. Private appointments with the mediums demonstrating may be booked prior to the retreat to avoid disappointment, all private sessions must be booked with Pam and a time and day will be arranged. Please understand that all the mediums are working this week, so private sessions may be limited.
5 Monday 24 th 7:30 8:30 am Yoga with Linda 10am 12 Classes: Please see the list in the hotel foyer for where your group will be. 12:30 2pm Lunch. 2:30 4pm Workshop/Lecture Linda Cucurullo. Energy & Recovery, using Yoga techniques for recovery will help restore you back to your natural health and balance, this is a quiet meditative class that everyone can do. It combines guided meditations, supported relaxing positions and healing breathing instructions. If you are recovering from illness, injury, addictions, grief of past trauma, this is a place where you will receive the seed of peace and wellness. 6pm Dinner 7:30 9pm Demonstration of Psychic drawing and Spirit communication with Matthais & Eva Guldenstein, Matthais will draw and sketch spirit communicators while Eva will use her gift of mediumship to bring forth messages and information from those communicating. Tuesday 25 th 7:30 8:30 Yoga with Linda 10am 12 Classes with facilitators. 12.30 2pm Lunch 2:30 4pm 6pm Dinner 7:30 9:30 Lecture and Demonstration of Spirit communication with Ellie Fristensky & Peter Close. Ellie will start this evening discussing and explaining her approach to her work and how she receives information. Peter Close will then give a demonstration of Spirit communication, giving spot messages to the group, he may also use psychometry and perhaps if you bring a flower he may even show us flower clairsentience, the gifts of reading objects and living things.
6 Wednesday 26 th 7:30 8:30 Yoga Traditionally we have this Wednesday as a free day, and for those who wish to shop, tour the island or simply chill out this is still an option, however we have a number of visitors who are very gifted and it has always been my intention to provide a friendly and amiable period where people can present their own abilities and discoveries, therefore the Board in the Hotel Foyer will list, on Tuesday evening alternative events for this day. We will follow the routine of having something at 10am, 2.30pm and a demonstration at 7:30. Please consider supporting any or all of these presentations. Lunch and dinner will be provided and Pam will take a count of those requiring lunch for this day on Tuesday afternoon. Thursday 27 th 7:30 8:30 Yoga 10 12. Classes: directions in the hotel foyer. 12:30 2pm Lunch 2:30 4:30pm Workshop: Developing the Swiss way! Matthais and Eva, working with some of the other facilitators will take the group through exercises and meditations that they use in their groups in Switzerland. We will work together to bring forth the very best experiences for the whole group, this will entail working in pairs and small groups. 6pm Dinner 7:30 9:30. Triple demonstration of Spirit communication, Hollister Rand, Peter Close and Robert Brown will attempt to work together linking, where possible to the same spirit communicators, to show how mediums sometimes perceive the same information in different ways. During this evening we will see how sometimes the mediums interpretation can affect a message and what we can do to overcome this.

At the end of this week we will also pass out details of our new Fall Retreat planned for October in the U.S a full week of learning and sharing including a trip to a very special center of learning and inspiration. This new venture is something that you will not want to miss!
