Divine Mercy Sunday There will be a special divine Mercy Sunday Service on April 23 rd at 3:00 pm at St. Paul s Church. Please do come. CHRIST HAS RISEN INDEED! Dear friends in Christ, Christ our Lord has indeed risen! We all became people of God and risen in Christ Jesus. Death was destroyed and life was restored. Our new singing our Alleluia will make the whole world know that Christ our Lord who died, was raised to life. After His glorious Resurrection, He appeared to many of His disciples and as Thomas doubted His Resurrection and new life, Christ the way of life appeared to Thomas and said,, "Thomas, you believe because you have seen me, but blessed are those who have not seen me and yet have come to believe". We are all blessed in Christ because we have not seen Him and yet believe in Him. As we celebrate, 'Divine Mercy' Sunday, let us confide ourselves in the mercy of God and extend His mercy to those who are away from His love. Fr. Peter For the Month of April The Sanctuary candles are burning for the intentions of our parishioners who are celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and other special events and as well those who are experiencing the healing power of Christ. Legion of Mary Legion of Mary (Latin: Legio Mariae) The Legion of Mary is an international association faithful Catholic Church who serve the Church on a voluntary basis. Please join the prayer group. Holy Father s Prayer Intentions for April Young People: That young people may respond generously to their vocations and seriously consider offering themselves to God in the priesthood or consecrated life. April Devotion The month of April is dedicated both to devotion to the Eucharist and devotion to the Holy Spirit. This tradition has developed because Easter Sunday often falls in April, and when it does fall in March, the Easter season continues on through all of April. Spiritual Thought Week: Keep close to the Catholic Church at all times, for the Church alone can give you true peace, since she alone possesses Jesus, the true Prince of Peace, in the Blessed Sacrament - St. Padre Pio Yard and Plant Sale at Our Lady Wayside School Please see the bulletin board at the back church for drop off information. A special mass will be celebrated on weekdays for each of those who used All Souls Day envelopes last November. The Church Mouse Says, "Christ paid! you keep the Change...New Life."

Martin VandenBroek, Bud Brioux, Bob Marler, Laurie Moriarty, Dennis Laevens and Larry Perks. If one member suffers, we all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together (1Cor 12.26) Saint's Corner: Our Lady of Counsel (April 26). This title honoring Mary appears early in Christian history. In return for financial assistance in renovating the Church of St. Mary Major in Rome, Pope Sixtus III granted land to the people of Genazzano, Italy. Eventually, a Church consecrated to our Lady of Counsel was built there and entrusted to the care Augustinian Order. She is a patron of many women's groups, including the CWL of Canada. May is the Month of Mary May Devotions to the Blessed Virgin Mary refers to special Marian devotions held in the Catholic Church during the month of May honoring the Virgin Mary as "the Queen of May.
