Learn about Messianic Jewish believers in history and in Israel today. Meet with ONE FOR ISRAEL faculty and staff and become familiar with the vision and programs. Help with grounds cleanup or prepare gifts for the team s hospital visits on Wednesday. Visit a neighborhood club for the elderly and holocaust survivors in Netanya. Enjoy a lunch with ONE FOR ISRAEL staff and/or the participants at the club for the elderly).. Visit Caesarea where Peter preached to Cornelius (Acts 10) and Paul gave his defense before Roman governors (Acts 24-26). Visit Megiddo, which gave its name to Armageddon in the Book of Revelation and tour Nazareth Village a reenactment of village life in Nazareth at the time of Yeshua. Enjoy a Biblical-style lunch (included). Community Project. Assist in the ministry of Nazareth Village, by dressing in first century clothing and help to illustrate life in the Nazareth of Yeshua s time. Evening: ONE FOR ISRAEL staff Community Project. Connect with a local Arab Christian pastor in Nazareth, and assist in visitation at a local hospital (children s wing and geriatrics wing) for the aged. Visit his congregation and pray for his work. Afternoon Tour: Sea of Galilee We ll enjoy a fish lunch together (included) and a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. There will also be an opportunity to view the remains of a fishing boat from the time of Yeshua and the synagogue at the town of Magdala. In the afternoon visit the Golan Heights for a view into Syria. 6 Nov 10 (Friday) 7 Nov 11 Saturday 8 Nov 12 Sunday We ll spend the day in the region of the Dead Sea including Qaser el-yahud, the traditional baptismal site of Yeshua in the Jordan river. There will be an opportunity for baptisms for those interested. Tour Masada, the palace-fortress of Herod the Great, used by the Zealots in the Great Jewish Revolt against Rome. Hike Ein Gedi where David hid from Saul as recorded in 1 Samuel 24. We ll end the day with an opportunity to float in the Dead Sea! Community Project: Meet with a Palestinian pastor in Bethlehem to learn about their ministry and pray. Time permitting there will be time to visit a shepherd s cave. Touring: Visit the Mt of Olives: The location of Yeshua s ascent and return, and Dominus Flevit where he wept over the city of Jerusalem (Luke 19:41-44). Spend time at the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus made His last prayer with His disciples. Continue to the Pools of Bethesda where we can worship at St. Anne s Church. Walk down the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Community Project. Begin the day with a prayer walk at the Israeli Supreme Court and the Knesset. Continue to the Jerusalem Prayer Tower. Travel to the Shefela of Judah, to the Valley of Elah, where David fought Goliath. Community Project. Visit the Joshua Fund s warehouse for humanitarian aid and learn about their vision and ministry. Have lunch with their staff and assist the ministry in packing and distributing aid. In the late afternoon there will be an opportunity to attend worship with the King of Kings Assembly. Tour to the Davidson Center with the remains of the city streets from the time of Jesus, as well as the City of David, where there will be an opportunity to Walk through Hezekiah s tunnel (optional flashlights and water shoes needed) and visit the Pool of Siloam. Free afternoon for leisure or visiting additional sites. Evening: Optional Excursion (on foot) to the Western Wall (also called the Wailing Wall ) and Western Wall Tunnels. Those who wish can sign up for an additional community project on this morning. In the afternoon, we ll all join together for a tour and communion at the Garden Tomb followed by a tour of Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Memorial Museum, and the Israel Museum, where we will view the 50:1 scale model of Jerusalem from Yeshua s time, and the Shrine of the Book, which houses the Dead Sea Scrolls. 7 PARTICIPANT MOBILITY Travelling in Israel requires each participant to be in good health and able to walk.
