Corvette Troy Business Meeting Minutes January 22, 2018 by Shirley Lamka, Secretary Corvette Troy Executive Board Meeting February 12, 2018 President: Dean Brookshire called the 599th meeting to order. Janelle Flaharty took roll call. Clipboards were passed around. New member, Chuck, was present. Dean invited everyone to socialize at TJ Chumps following the meeting. Vice President: Pam Bowen Thanked those who participated in the 27 parades C-T attended. V P Membership: Charles Staley Membership remains at 95. Secretary: Shirley Lamka had nothing to report. Chris Davis moved to accept the minutes as printed in the newsletter. Charlie Conway 2nd it, which passed. Treasurer Teresa Peters: gave the check book balances VP Competition - Janelle Flaharty went over the details for the upcoming Feb 18 & Mar. rallies. She ll have a competition meeting Tue, Feb 20 @ Frickers on Miller Lane at 7PM.. Governor: Jerry Limpach NCCC will again be selling raffle tickets for a corvette with proceeds going to St. Judes Children s Hospital. He needs 2017 pictures from rallies & parades for the Awards Banquet. Social: Janet Limpach Went over the Social events for the next few months. Our banquet is Mar 24. 5:30 (If you know of a restaurant that can handle 40+ diners on a Sat. evening, LET JANET KNOW!. She reminded us of the Competition meeting & the Mar rally. We have a new contact person at Kil-Kare. Janelle & Jerry are working on finding out who our new contact person is. Governor: Jerry Limpach Our NCCC sanctioned autocross dates are: June 17, Aug 12, Sept 22, Oct 7. NCCC will be mailing new NCCC membership cards. Social: Janet Limpach She went over the social events thru our Mar 24 Awards Banquet. Charity: Vicki Siefke Absent- The Dayton Con Course will be Sept 15 & our raffle drawing will be Sept 29 at the Tipp City Mum Festival. We will be raffling off a 2019 Corvette. Newsletter Editor: Don McAlexander Suggested we print our Points Program definitions in the Gazette. After discussion, it was dropped since the rules are in the C-T Handbook. He mentioned the 2018 serial #1 Corvette recently sold at auction for $1,400.000 with the proceeds going to charity. Old Business: Jerry reminded us NCCC WILL be mailing new membership cards. New Business: - E-board approved a new shirt to be offered to the membership. Submitted by Shirley Lamka. Hope you attended our 600th meeting in Feb. 2018. It sounded like an impossible date when we celebrated our 500th meeting on Oct. 2009. Hope to see all those who attended and more at our 700th meeting June 2026!
