WHO IS THE UMA? WHY SPONSOR THE UMA? The United Muslims of Australia (UMA) is a nonprofit, community and Islamic dawah organisation, that focuses on reviving the Islamic spirit in people s lives, in accordance to the Quran and Sunnah, within a balanced framework of Islamic teachings. The UMA was established in 2002, as a place for the Muslim youth to socialise and participate in a variety of educational, recreational and religious activities. It is currently one of Australia s largest Islamic youth and dawah centres, recognised around the world for the positive impact it has on people s lives. Over the years, the UMA has provided continuous support to the community, to ensure today s youth are equipped with the skills to become confident and outstanding members of the wider Australian community. The UMA has always been at the forefront, catering its services to the needs of the culturally diverse Australian Muslim community. The UMA has established itself as one of the most reputable Islamic organisations in Australia. For over 15 years, the UMA has offered the community the highest quality of Islamic programs and has proven to be a trustworthy and reliable source of Islamic education and knowledge. The UMA is now extending the invitation for you to get involved, and contribute to their current and future initiatives. UMA CENTRE The UMA is an all-inclusive centre that offers the Muslim community various religious, cultural, educational, employment and recreational programs in a safe and secure environment. SYDNEY ISLAMIC COLLEGE (SIC) SIC is a non-profit educational institution, established to meet the needs of Muslims living in the west, according to the Quran and Sunnah, and the methodologies of the esteemed scholars of Islam. SIC provides courses in Sharia, Quran and Arabic for adults & children alike. RELIGIOUS ADVICE AND COUNSELLING The UMA offers religious advice and counselling services to individuals, couples, and families, in accordance to the Quran and Sunnah. Marriage services are also provided by registered marriage celebrants. DAWAH GROUP The Dawah group is the foundation of the UMA, spreading the invitation of Allah and His Messenger (PBUH) within the Muslim community, as well as the wider Australian community, providing a number of services, such as camps, BBQs, social outings, personal development seminars & dawah courses.

WHERE WILL YOUR DONATIONS GO? AUSTRALIAN NEW MUSLIM ASSOCIATION (ANMA) For many years, ANMA has been providing insight and awareness to the wider community about Islam. This service provides support for new Muslims, and non-muslims, in the hopes that they receive a balanced understanding of the authentic teachings, morals and Islamic way of life, and as a result become positive ambassadors for Islam. ISLAMIC MEDIA Islamic media is the multi-media division of the UMA, providing the public with access to view and download hundreds of lectures by renowned local and international speakers. This free service reaches thousands of Muslims around the world via YouTube, Facebook, CD and DVD production. THE MESSAGE MAGAZINE The Message Magazine is a free Islamic publication, which strives to inform Muslims and non-muslims about the practices and values of Islam. The Message Magazine emphasises the importance of knowledge and peace within the community, and prints thousands of copies per issue, distributing them nationwide, as well as the option to download each issue, free of charge.

SYDNEY MUSLIM YOUTH Sydney Muslim Youth (SMY) was established to focus on the needs of the future generations of Muslim youth, for both brothers and sisters, aged 12-18 years. In addition to their weekly recreational program, SMY also offers ongoing services such as youth outings and camps, school holiday programs, youth counselling, mentoring, career advice and so much more. SISTERHOOD The sisterhood provides vital services to the growing demand of Muslim women seeking knowledge and Islamic guidance. By creating a supportive and friendly environment, the Sisterhood is able to offer weekly lessons, sports & fitness classes, workshops and social gatherings. ZAMZAM HAJJ & UMMRAH GROUP ZamZam Hajj and Ummrah Group is a non-profit tour group, tailored for English speaking pilgrims to fulfil the fifth pillar of Islam - Hajj. Each year, the group accommodates for over 100 pilgrims, accompanied by imams, as well as experienced guides, providing a 5-star spiritual Hajj service. ZamZam Hajj and Ummrah Group extends their services to also offer a yearly Ummrah trip.

WHERE WILL YOUR DONATIONS GO? ZAKAT FUND The UMA Zakat Fund provides the community with an opportunity to fulfil their obligatory, annual charity requirement. Zakat Fund continues to sponsor and support a number of Australian Muslims in their journey to complete their Islamic studies overseas, and benefit their local community upon their return. BROTHERHOOD GYM The Brotherhood Gym with its state of the art equipment, personal training sessions, boxing classes, and strength and conditioning facilities, within a modest and welcoming environment is the place for a great workout. GIFT A SMILE Gift A Smile is a non-profit organisation that provides financial and moral support to families enduring all kinds of hardships. Their work includes, but is not limited to, visiting nursing homes, hospitals and special needs schools, in the hopes of bringing a smile to the faces of those who may feel alone on their journey.
