WELCOME This morning please welcome our new Associate Director of Music, Jill Truax. Jill comes to us from First Baptist Church of Vero Beach where she has served for the last 12 years and has extensive training in accompanying, piano/organ performance, conducting and children and youth music. Jill, a native of Pennsylvania, earned a Bachelor of Arts in piano performance from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. As part of her undergraduate study, Jill was selected as an intern with the National Symphony s education department in Washington, D.C. There, she researched and helped write educational concerts for young audiences. She later awarded a full performance scholarship to the Cincinnati Conservatory of the University of Cincinnati, where she completed a Master of Music degree in piano performance. We welcome Jill into our music ministry and wonderful church. 7

SAVE THE DATES!: Our high school youth will host four Kid s Night Out events throughout the year to raise funds for their summer mission trip! Sunday, September 9, 2018 We are excited to welcome back the Blue Cypress Bluegrass Band to our 10:00 a.m. Sanctuary Worship Service, where we will enjoy traditional music and bluegrass gospel that will be sure to inspire your soul! Afterwards, all are invited to a church picnic, with fried chicken, baked beans, cole slaw and lemonade.
