ARCHIVE REGISTER FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION RECORDS
The Holcot History Society was founded in 2012 with a sound initial membership of eleven village residents. The early enthusiasm failed to develop into a committed programme of research and archiving of the history of Holcot and the surrounding area. By 2016, attendance at meetings had dwindled to four and it became clear that the Society could not continue on this basis. It was decided to wind up the Society and the few remaining members agreed to use some of the funds in the bank account to create a storage facility in the Church Room store where the records could be preserved and recorded in the hope that interest in the Society could be regenerated at some future date. This folder contains a record of the archives stored in the adjacent boxes numbered 1 to 7 plus 5 cardboard tubes containing larger items. St. Mary & All Saints Church finance and administration records are stored in boxes 8-12
