Happy new year to all you beautiful souls! It s time to release 2013 and move on. This is the first newsletter of the year. I m sure many of you can feel that the energies have changed for the better already and are feeling more positive and motivating. This is the year where things are moving and happening the log has been removed from the river and it is now going to FLOW! The year started out well with 2 full moons in January, which is a rare event. A few updates: Lee-Anne has room for a few more Crystal Healing and Reiki clients in Cape Town. She will be holding workshops this year to teach Reiki 1 to Advanced, as well as Crystal Healing (both are practitioner s courses). Emma has moved to Cape Town, and will be doing attunements in person, as Healing Energies. Karmic Saturn will spend most of 2014 in the depth-seeking water sign of Scorpio. And depth-seeking Pluto will be in the Saturn-ruled earth sign of Capricorn throughout the year, intensifying the trend toward cleansing, purification, and selfdiscovery. You may will feel an urge to avoid complex or tangled issues under this highly intense influence. But circumstances may push you to discover previously hidden information and feelings so they may be untangled and healed. This process of unearthing, purifying, and rectifying is going on across the planet notice all the drilling, construction, reconstruction, and destruction of man-made structures and natural resources. It can be a bit messy on the physical level, but it is a mirror of what is going on in our psyches. This is a time of clearing away the old to make room for the new. It is a natural balancing process that can happen instantaneously or it can take many years (as it has been doing), due to energetic resistance (lower vibrations) caused by negative thoughts, greed, and other imbalances in human consciousness. These imbalances cause the upswing in natural disasters, which further slows the natural process. Positive thoughts and prayer will make the transition go more smoothly. Due to the unstable magnetic field of the earth at this time, too much activity or information will feel disorienting. Choose carefully what you focus on. Keep your mind clear. In your communications, clarify your points first in your own mind and then choose your words carefully. While the magnetic resonance of the earth continues to weaken as the magnetic poles shift toward reversal at an accelerating rate, it is helpful to take steps to raise your magnetic resonance to stay centered in the days to come. 10 Suggestions for Raising Your Magnetic Resonance during Magnetic Pole Reversal 1. Focus on your heart. The energy of your heart is 5,000 times more powerful than that of your other organs, including your brain. 5. Pray. Your prayers for yourself and others raise your magnetic resonance and increase the magnetic field of the person you are praying for as well as for the planet as a whole. 6. Affirm. Affirm in your mind repeatedly throughout the day the positive reality you envision for yourself and others. 7. Give as much as you can. Charity opens the way for more abundance to come to you. 8. Practice gratitude. Gratitude paves the way for more of what you are thankful for to come to you. 9. Raise your magnetic resonance through physical methods get plenty of sunshine, clean water, fresh fruits and vegetables, and feel the beneficial effects of negative ions (positive energy) from moving water, rivers, oceans, waterfalls, or even rain God's way of cleaning the earth to bring positive energy. 10. Simplify. Lower your expectations, especially the unrealistic ones. Focus on what is important. Let go of the rest. Focus your mind, open your heart, raise your awareness, and have a great 2014!
HOW TO USE A PENDULUM - FOR BEGINNERS By Lee-Anne B Sit quietly and centre yourself. Use a visualization technique to protect yourself and your aura against any disruptive or negative influence. Ask that your answers be for your highest good only. Hold your pendulum cord between your thumb and forefinger about 10cm above the pendulum (called a bob ) and let it hang more or less motionless. Ask a question mentally or aloud for a reaction to the answer 'yes'. This could be am I human, or am I male am I female. The question must be asked in such a way that yes can be the only answer. Wait a few seconds for a reaction. The bob may sway : * Clockwise or circular right * Counter-clockwise or circular left * Diagonally left * Side to side * Diagonally right * Back and forth Wait for the bob to stop moving and let it hang. Then mentally or aloud ask for a reaction to the answer for 'no'. You can ask something obvious like do I live in a shoe or have I been to Mongolia. The bob should away but in another way or direction. You have now established your yes and no answers. If you ask a question and the bob moves in neither a yes or no manner you may have to re-visit the question later or ask it in a different way. It may also mean that your pendulum needs cleansing. Your fingers and arm shouldn t be held stiffly. You may have a twitch or spasm in your arm, sending the bob into motion immediately. The idea is for any movement to be unconscious and not directly influenced by wishful thinking. Don t stare at the bob when asking your question. Different reactions will be experienced by different people, male or female, as well as left or right handed. I have also experienced a difference depending on what type of pendulum I use (I prefer crystals). If you are using a pendulum for the first time, don't worry if you don t get a consistent reaction or no reaction at all. A little practice will help, but don't force it. Approach it without fear there is nothing scary or supernatural about it. It is a matter of opinion but I feel that the pendulum allows your higher self to communicate with your physical self. That all the answers are within you and the pendulum is a means of freeing that information. The only rules that apply are (1) protect yourself when using your pendulum (2) ask only for the highest good of yourself (3) ask only for the highest good of others (4) don t ask any question more than once.. I don t know why but you will get varied answers it may be that your higher self perceives your doubt and this influences the sway. I have created a range of affordable pendulums using crystal bobs. I have also carefully measured the length of the chain to make it comfortable and allow for a free sway. I have included a fob at the other end of each chain to make it easy to hold between thumb and forefinger. No measuring or uncomfortable pinching, this will enable you to relax your hand and arm without too much drag.
