OUR CHURCH FAMILY Continue to remember in prayer those of our members with special needs at this time and who need an extra measure of God s healing and strength: Gradus Lubbers and Joanne Vander Schaaf. Nancy Cook has made some good improvement gaining strength and experiencing fewer side effects with medication. We give God thanks for hearing prayers on her behalf. Continue to lift up Con Boeve (under Hospice care at Holland Hospital) that God would be near to him and surround him with His grace and mercy. Marie De Graaf continues under Hospice Care at Tendercare and is growing weaker. Pray that God will make His loving presence known to her and to her family at this time. Remember Mitchell Greving that God would provide for all of his needs each day in his weeks of training. HAPPY BIRTHDAY wishes go out to John Berghorst (80) on June 4, to Caroline Schaap (86) on June 5, and to Gladys Nienhuis (87) on June 7. VOLUNTEER TRAINING: Sundays, June 9 and 23 after morning worship. CADETS Ottagan Cadet Council Summer Campout/Rafting Trip on June 14-15 at Potato Creek State Park near South Bend, IN. Fathers are invited. Estimated cost for camping, food and 2 trips down the whitewater course is $20 per person. Cadets must be at least 4 6 tall in shoes to go rafting. THIS EVENT WILL ALLOW CADETS TO EARN THEIR WHITEWATER RAFTING MERIT BADGE! You must sign up for this trip by TODAY! If you have any questions about this event, please contact Bob Kuipers, Jr. SUMMER CAR WASHES: Cadets will be raising funds this summer for their 2014 trip to Alberta Canada by washing cars every first Saturday of the month. Come and support our cadets and have your car washed Saturday morning between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. in the parking lot on the north side of the church!
