We are grateful for each and every gift that has been received. Your dollars are at work, providing light this Advent season! We completed our LED lighting upgrades in the sanctuary and Parish Hall! We replaced 86 pendant lights in the sanctuary, 19 wall sconces and more than 150 lamps in the library and Narthex. We also installed 70 LED panels in the hallways and classrooms and 78 fixtures in the bathrooms, choir room and storage. In addition, we also: Installed a new door access system and re-keyed all door locks. Completed sound system upgrades and organ repairs. This includes forming young people to be disciples of Jesus Christ through relational ministry, planning and executing youth nights by leading both teens and volunteers, and collaborating and working closely with the formation department. This individual should be united to Christ in the teachings and Sacraments of the Catholic Church, personal daily prayer, and have a heart to minister to young people. This individual would also report directly to the Director of Family Formation. St. Joseph Catholic School has an immediate opening for a full-time Facilities Manager, with the hours of noon to 8 p.m. during the school week, and flexible hours during the summer. This person reports to the school administration, and must be one to take ownership of their work, follow school policies, and believe in the mission of our Catholic school. They must have good mechanical aptitude and experience with building and grounds maintenance. They must have a working knowledge of light carpentry and lawn care, including all facets of a sprinkler system. This person needs to be able to diagnose and perform mechanical repairs, which includes light plumbing repairs. Must have an ability to work from ladders, adjust to height and close quarters, and withstand cold and heat. Basic computer skills are required. On-call availability for emergencies. Must be a self-starter recognizing areas in need of attention and making the necessary repairs or enhancements. Must be able to use both oral and written communication effectively.
