President s Report With only two more President s Reports until the end of the Rotary year, it is appropriate that this one comes after the very successful Community Volunteers Awards Night, and during our annual Antiques, Vintage and Collectables Fair. Last Monday night we celebrated a number of achievements. Firstly, our Club presented Raelene Clifford a cheque for half of the proceeds from the Music Amongst the Autumn Leaves concert held recently in the gardens around the home of Robin and Ross Ingram. Raelene seemed genuinely surprised at the amount, and the Club is extremely grateful to Raelene and her students for all of the work they put in to making it a very successful afternoon. Next came the birthday cake for Valda celebrating her 21 st birthday again. Much hilarity and candle Happy JUNE Birthday David Rayner Therese Bowler Alan Ainslie Robin Ingram Introduction: N/A Thanks: N/A blowing out. However, the serious side of the evening received the full attention of all present as each of our nine Community Volunteer Awardees were receiving their awards. Our nine awardees were - Gregory Birtles, Bill Clague, Leoni and Geoffrey Hubbard, Robin Ingram, Anja Kennedy, Peter Kilkeary, Bob Templeman and Geoffrey Wheeler. Our Rotary Club is proud to support them as a result of their achievements and congratulate them on their awards. The Antiques, Vintage and Collectables Fair is once again running incredibly smoothly. We are told by Valda and Ross that it just runs itself. This is overly modest. The real truth lies in the fact that an incredible amount of effort and structure has been put into place by Valda Bray and Ross Ingram. And we extend our utmost congratulations and thanks to them for what they have achieved. Next Monday is a more relaxed evening. We are having a games night. Should be a lot of fun. The following Monday is our last Club Assembly for this Rotary year. Check out the local Rotary Clubs Changeovers. They are sure to be fun and to maintain your SKI-ing aspirations. Have a great week ahead. Marilyn Kenney President Happy JUNE Wedding Anniversary John Germ 2016-17 President of Rotary International Rotary Serving Humanity
